"Don't be sorry, pretty thang. I'm here for ya'." He said, hugging her back. He sat her on his lap. "Don't worry 'bout that date, all you need to worry 'bout is helpin' your heart. I'll handle everythin' else."

"Everything? That's a lot..." Kiara mumbles. Her arms drop slightly, though she's still hugging Ian as she rests her forehead on his shoulder. "Thank you." She smiles gratefully at him.

"Of course." He nodded, kissing her forehead.

Kiara nods as well, closing her eyes when he kisses her forehead. She hesitates and then stands. Kiara wanted to do something to take her mind off her brothers death.

Ian felt a bit disappointed to not get a kiss back, but he stood in case she needed his help.

Kiara grabbed some clothes, deciding to take a shower. "I'm going to go take a shower. Can you get breakfast ready? I prepared overnight french toast bake last night for today. It should be all ready, just stick it in the oven. If you need any help, you can get Schylur since they taught me how to make it." She smiles and gives Ian a thumbs up.

Ian gives a thumbs up back. "Sure I will, anythang for ya'." He winked at her and stood. He was serious, he'd do anything for her.

"Thanks." Kiara smiles and heads to go take a shower. She was grateful that Ian was helping her. Kiara didn't really think Ian really meant it because people had said it to her and never followed through when she needed their help.

Well, Ian was different. He had fallen for this girl, and hard, for quite a few years and he wasn't about to just leave her hanging when she needed help. He stood and went to the kitchen, pulling out the things he had to and putting what she'd said to in the oven.

Kiara took a quick shower, making sure afterwards to wash her dirty clothes too since a tiny bit of blood from Lilith and Jack had gotten on them. She changes and then heads to the kitchen. Kiara hums a hello to Jack as she passes since Ray was still asleep. She combs through her hair and puts it into a bun as she enters the kitchen to see if Ian needed any help.
