Alderic waved his hand in the air. "Just an insignificant detail." He said with a straight face before grinning again. He sat up all the way looking around. "I should probably start packing up." He said standing. "Last call for s'mores." He yelled getting ready to put the things away.
A'ine put a thumbs down in the air to show Alderic she didn't want another one. She smiled a little at Kanin. "That's nice of you to offer, and thank you, but I really want to wait for Ember." She said appreciatively.
Mitch's eyes widened. "Well you don't have to show them to me if you don't want to." He said before looking at Alderic. "I do not require another one sir, Alderic the Magnificent." He called back to him.
Jora sighed a little looking at where it fell. "Not really but I should leave it there... Plus these are kind of my roommates... I'll have to get her some new ones." She said sighing again, resting her chin on his shoulder, loosening her grip around his neck as she did.

"I hereby release you from your duty of s'more making," Alice said in the most proper obnoxious tone she could manage. She crossed her arms and looked down her nose at Alderic.
Kanin smiled at Alderic, not bothering to say anything since it was rather obvious he didn't want anymore. "Alright. It looks like everyone else will be leaving soon anyways," Kanin said to A'ine, smiling. "And I should probably accompany Alice back to her dorm. She gets lost very easily," he said.
"Neither do I," Ember called, barely loud enough for Alderic to hear her. She turned back to Mitch. "If you show me one of your screenplays, I guess I could show you some of my writing," she said shyly.
Orion crouched down carefully and snagged the flip-flop in one hand. He straightened up carefully, and began to walk slowly. He definitely did not want to trip now. "I might be able to fix it," he said, glancing at her out of the corner of his eye.

Alderic couldn't help but laugh a bit at Alice. "Thank you, your majesty." He said giving her a flourished bow.
A'ine chuckled shaking her head a little. "I'm thinking Alice should meet A'eda'n, he seems about the exact opposite, it'd be very entertaining to force them to hang out for a day." She said surprised by her next thought looking at the fire for a moment to regain composure.
Mitch chuckled. "Well, I can show you a script, screenplays are for movies and I write plays." He said not at all demeaning. "I can show you... Two... I think that's what I have with me." He said chuckling a little rubbing the back of his neck.
Jora felt bad that he was carrying her and it didn't help her that he kept offering to try and fix things for her. She owed him way too much. "At least now you'll stay warm." She tried joking not really feeling it.

Alice curtsied back, trying to maintain a pompous, aloof expression. "I may require your s'more services at a later date," she said, barely containing a grin.
Kanin chuckled. "That would be rather entertaining," he agreed, looking between A'ine, Alice, and Alderic. "Are you alright?" he asked A'ine, trying not to smile slightly. He had an idea of what was bothering her.
Ember blushed embarrassedly, ducking her head. "Oh wow, very smart Ember," she said to herself before turning back to Mitch. "I'd love to read your scripts," she said, smiling at him.
Orion laughed. "True!" he said. "I'm just glad I can help you," he said, almost to himself. He had felt so useless earlier. Whenever he tried to help her, he would either make it worse, or just sit there being helpless.

Alderic chuckled a little. "Well, miss, I'd need a twelve hour notice before I can offer my services." He joked glancing at A'ine and Kanin. They looked like a nice couple, and his matchmaking instincts from his sister saw an opportunity, but something else didn't like it. Not one bit.
A'ine looked back at Kanin. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just thinking about a couple things." She said smiling a little, messing with her hair some more as she yawned.
Mitch frowned a little. "I agree, you are a very smart person Ember." He said before swallowing. "Hey do you think I could walk you back to the dorms? I got a couple things I would like to discuss with you." He said smiling slightly.
Jora closed her eyes a little. "Ohand you don't have to fix that flipflop. My parents gave me a good amount of spending money and it's my fault. So I'm going to replace them." She said quietly hoping she wasn't too heavy.

"Hmph, you should be ready for her majesty's disposal at a moment's notice," Alice said, and she couldn't help the grin she had been fighting to contain. She really did enjoy joking with Alderic like this, and although she didn't generally enjoy social situations, she was enjoying herself.
(Okay, just FYI, Kanin is good at reading people. Since he is rather quiet, he tends to be a good observer.)
Kanin flicked an ear, hoping his guess at what was bothering A'ine was right. "It's rare to see Alice enjoy herself like this around people. She definitely doesn't have romantic feelings towards Alderic though, I can tell that much," he said, lowering his voice at the last part so the others couldn't hear.
Ember blushed. "Um, I should probably check in with A'ine first, but I'd like that a lot," she said. There was now little piles of dirt all around her feet from the constant twisting of her foot.
"Alright. If you're sure," Orion said quietly, concentrating on avoiding rocks and roots in his path. The only light was coming from the dorm windows, and the fragmented reflections on the lake. He could barely see five feet in front of him. Luckily, he came from a rather rural area, so he was accustomed to walking around in the dark.

Alderic snorted a little. "Is her Majesty forgetting who the magnificent one is?" He joked back grinning at her grin. "See? It'll be an epidemic soon enough." He said finishing zipping up his bags.
(You picked up on it pretty quickly yourself, I thought I was being too vague for you too. :3)
A'ine looked at him. "Fine. You got it. But keep your trap shut or I swear to the ocean bed that I'll gut you and use you to chum the water." she mind spoke to him before speaking aloud. "Yeah they do seem to enjoy the banter."
Mitch chuckled, watching her dig into the ground. "Fair enough. What other kinds of things do you like to do for fun?" He asked her looking at her intently.
Jora noticed how dark it was. She bit her lip considering trying to make a small light for him to walk by. But knowing herself, it'd probably start a forest fire.

"Don't get cocky with me showoff," Alice shot back, scowling at him again. She was glad he could tell she was joking, even when her humor seemed rather cold and rude to most people.
(It just took me a while to figure out how Kanin would broach the topic. He's too polite to be too obvious about it. XD)
Kanin jolted in surprise when she spoke to him telepathically. Okay, okay! But I promise Alice will not be competion. Kanin thought, raising his hands in an 'I surrender' gesture. "They definitely do."
Ember had never had anyone so interested in her interests before. Or her in general really. "I like night-flying she said, tilting her head backwards to look at the stars.
"I used to walk home in the dark all the time. My sister would drag me on some crazy adventure, and I wouldn't be able to do all my chores really late at night," Orion said to Jora.

(Last one from me. I need some sleep.)
Alderic chuckled a little at Alice. "I prefer the word confident." He said glancing around at everyone he saw Kanin shoot his arms up without A'ine or himself speaking a word. Wonder what their talking about that can't be said aloud. he thought to himself.
A'ine sighed. "It isn't like that. Just a touch of jealously." She said quietly. "Also, don't react like that when I mind speak to you, Alderic saw it and is curious now." She said quietly. She thought for a moment. She could just find out for herself what Alderic thought of her but she was a little scared too know for sure.
Mitch nodded. "That's cool. I find flying when it's dark out to be refreshing." He said with a small smile.
Jora sighed a little. "Okay, this is like an ultimate game of trust right now." She joked closing her eyes again unconscious rubbing her face into his shoulder.

(Conveniently, that's when I got offline.)
"Are you guys headed back then?" Alice asked, looking around at the others. They were all still conversing though. "Because we should probably put out the fire, unless you want Smokey the Bear to kill us in our sleep," she said.
"I apologize. I just was not expecting it. You surprised me," Kanin replied just as quietly. He looked over at the fire, brushing his shoulder-length silver hair away from his face.
Ember smiled back. "Can you see well in the dark?" she asked. Ember had pretty good night vision. It was a bit helpful, considering Jabberwockies were nocturnal. (I'm not sure if this is true, but if not, Ember could be a nocturnal subspecies or something.)
Orion laughed. "Don't worry, you can trust me," he said. He turned his head to say something to her, but when he could (barely) see that her eyes were closed, he decided to remain quiet. She must be pretty tired.
