"Nnnnn....no...no...no...please....sorry,so sorry....not....again.....no...chains....muzzle....no....no" She muttered,wincing and flinching away from her touch. In her mind she wasn't out but rather back in her cell,being wrestled to be tested again.

"Diana!" She said in her normal voice now. "Wake up, please!"

Her golden eyes burst open,pupils slits,and she shot to a stand,wings spreading a bit. She wasn't seeing fully yet,backing up and shaking her head wildly.

Kate jumped back, not expecting D to react. She didn't speak, she just stood there, waiting for her to snap out of it

Her wings soon went limp at her sides as her pupils shifted to normal. She felt along her torso,as if making sure it wasn't torn open again,and then sighed,curling into her wings and sitting on her hunches,tail in tightly and head ducked so only her horns poked out from her hiding spot in her wings.

"I'm sorry if I scared you," Kate whispered, walking over to where D was, putting a hand on one of her wings. "I couldn't watch you having a nightmare like that."

She snaked a hand out and shakily stroked Kate's hand,as if not thinking she was real.

Kate took D's hand, squeezing it. "Are you okay?"

She weakly squeezed back,tail quivering a bit. "K-Kate...?" Her voice was soft.

"Yeah? Is there anything I can do to help?" She asked, chewing her lip. She felt so bad for D; she knew exactly how it was to have horrible nightmares about the past.
