Eon watched his father, and asked calmly but angrily, *why did you do these things? Why?*

Eon frowned. *i know you good enough to tell your lying. Whats the real reason?* then his face took a pleading look. *if you ever loved me, tell me the truth.*

(So, what if the man tries to kill Eon, and Eon has no choice but to defend himself. Then Mara comes up and hugs him gently, to help him get over the pain of having killed his own father?)

Eon roared at him and turned away, hurt. *i see.*

(Because it's drama, and drama is interesting.)
As Eon turned away, the greasy man lunges at him, a dagger in his hand suddenly.

Eon lunges away and reacted on instinct, biting the man and pumping him full of poison. Then he backed up, horrified.

The man felt the venom burning in his veins, and knew he was dying. "Eon, I am sorry."
Then he released his breath, and he didn't draw another.

Darius stepped forward, and felt the man's throat. He was dead.

Eon was frozen, then let out a cry of pain. He fell, sobbing, and didnt bother trying to get up. He just cried.

Mara hugged Eon, gently licking his cheek, not knowing why. "It's okay, Eon. You can lean on me."
