"I am Lady Weaver, and you will listen to me carefully. King Oberon has asked me to make you presentable for Elysium tonight. He will not have his half-breed daughter parading around in peasant rags, or worse, mortal clothes, in front of the Unseelie Court. I told him I would do my best and not to expect miracles, but we shall try. Now--" she gestured to the side room "--first things first. You reek of human, troll, and blood. Go take a bath." She clapped once, and the two satyrs trotted around to face Amelia. "Tansy and Clarissa will attend you. Now I must design something for you to wear that will not make a laughingstock of your father."

She nodded once, then headed to the room to clean up.
'I wonder what the other court will think of me...' She said to herself, since she knows some of the people in this court are against her.

They left her to bathe

Once she got cleaned up she looked down at her clothes.
'What am I supposed to do now...'
"Do you have clean clothes I can wear by any chance?" She called out from the closed door.

Lady Weaver gave her a silver dress through the door.

"Thank you..." She said as she took the dress and put it on.
'This is pretty... cool...' She thought to herself, looking into the mirror.

A shimmering silver dress covered her, the material lighter than silk. It rippled like water with the slightest movement, lacy sleeves billowing out from her arms, barely touching her skin. The two satyrs started to work on her hair and it had been elegantly curled and twisted into a graceful swirl atop her head, held in place by sparkling pins. A sapphire the size of a babys fist flashed blue fire at her throat.

"Well?" Lady Weaver gently touched one of the sleeves, admiring it like an artist would a favorite painting. "What do you think?"

"This is amazing. A real miracle." She smiled, happy that it worked out well.

Lady Weaver turned away, clapping her hands. Like clockwork, Tansy and Clarissa appeared wearing simple white dresses, their curly hair brushed out. Tansy held Amelia's backpack in two fingers, as if afraid it would bite her.

"I had the girls wash your mortal clothes," Lady Weaver said, turning away from the mirror. "Oberon would have them destroyed, but then that would mean more work for me, so I put them in your bag. Once Elysium is over, Ill be taking that dress back, so youll want to hang on to your own clothes."

"Yes thank you..." She trailed off for a second. "Do you think he'll let me go back home?" She asked with curiosity.
