(I feel that xD)

"And yet" Mab regarded him with a look that made some of the fey in the room squirm. "I cannot help but wonder how you managed to survive. Perhaps the dragons are in league with the Iron fey, plotting with them against the Winter Court. That would be terribly amusing, wouldn't it, Jason?"

Jason looked at her calmly with purple and hazel eyes, the colors now shifted so that his right was purple and his left hazel.Golden flecks in them both, glittering like the real stuff. "It would ma'am,if the dragons had the time. With all respect, they wouldn't be able to think of anything else than the war that they are taking part in at the present time. They are fighting for their realm and lives, and so they wouldn't have time for joining part in any other events." he said, his voice calm but a bit firm. Not in a way of disrespect, but rather to prove just a small amount of information.

Mab narrowed her eyes to black slits. "And you would have me believe that you, a dragon with virtually no power, managed to kill the Iron King?"
"Believe him, I was there. I saw what happened."
Voices rose around them as the ranks of Unseelie fey parted like waves. The lean, dangerous form of Prince Ash strode into the chamber. Ash looked much as he always did, darkly beautiful in black and gray, his pale skin a sharp contrast to his hair and clothes. His sword hung at his side, the sheath a luminous blue-black, giving off a frozen aura.

Jason looked to him and stopped his scales from shifting color. He knew that this would only make it harder to keep calm and hide what he felt. 'Dang it...why.' He thought. He kept a calm expression and wings in tight, trying to hide the shivering silver and faint hints of pink he tried to kill with dark purple again. 'Just keep calm,he's an enemy. Enemy.Simple as that.'

He responded with a cold glare. Maybe he didn't recognize Jason. His frosty eyes swept over him in a brief, dismissive glance, before he stepped around him and continued toward the queen. Maybe he was playing it cool in front of the queen, but he could've at least said hi. Might've gotten them both killed, but still.

"Prince Ash," Mab purred, as Ash went down on one knee before the throne. "You have returned. Are your brothers with you?" Ash raised his head, but before he could answer, another voice interrupted him.

"Our youngest brother practically fled our presence in his haste to get to you, Queen Mab," said a high, clear voice behind Jason. "If I didn't know better, I would think he didn't want to speak to you in front of us."

Ash rose, his face carefully blank, as two more figures strode into the chamber, scattering fey like birds. Like Ash, they wore long, thin blades at their hips, and carried themselves with the easy grace of royalty.

Jason kept to the side, his chest hurting faintly at the dismissive reaction from the prince, but he knew that this was how it should be. But it made him wonder if anything in the cave the other night had meant a thing. His tail shakily pulled close and wrapped around his left leg, more to sturdy it than to keep calm.

The first, the one who had spoken, resembled Ash in build and height: lean, graceful and dangerous. He had a thin, pointed face, and black hair that bristled like spines atop his head. A white trench coat billowed out behind him, and a gold stud sparkled in one pointed ear. His gaze met Jason's as he swept past, ice-blue eyes glittering like chips of diamond, and his lips curled in a lazy smirk.

The second brother was taller than his siblings, more willowy than lean, his long raven hair tied back in a ponytail that reached his waist. A great gray wolf trailed behind him, amber eyes slit and wary. "Rowan," Mab smiled at the first prince as the two bowed to her as Ash had done. "Sage. All my boys, home at last. What news do you bring me? Have you found these Iron fey within our borders? Have you brought me their poisonous little hearts?"

"My queen." It was the tallest of the three that spoke, the oldest brother, Sage. "We have searched Tir Na Nog from border to border, from the Ice Plains to the Frozen Bog to the Broken Glass Sea. We have found nothing of the Iron fey our brother has spoken of."

"Makes you wonder if our dear brother Ash exaggerated a bit," Rowan spoke up, his voice matching the smirk on his face. "Seeing as these 'legions of Iron fey' seem to have vanished into thin air."

Ash glared at Rowan with an almost expressionless mask.

Jason so almost shivered as the brother of Ash's met his eyes, the gold in them shivering faintly with a soft shimmering of their rich color.
He so wanted to stand up for Ash at the moment, but he knew that he might just be disregarded. "If I may speak, the iron fey may have hidden in any terms, the iron king spoke as if their home hadn't been found yet. The tower fell, yes, but many may have survived and so may be hiding within' what is left of their home." He said. He was used to discussing these sorts of things, the war at home helping him learn to when the other dragons refused to listen to him and then only prove with blood, glass and death that he was right.

Rowan smiled at him, a slit-eyed, dangerous smile. "And why would you, of all the fey, not lie to your enemy? Especially if your life is on the line?" "Enough." Mab's voice rasped through the chamber. She stood and waved a hand at the fey assembled behind them. "Get out. Leave, all of you. I will speak with my sons alone." The crowd dispersed, slinking, stomping or gliding from the throne room.

Jason raised his chin a bit, giving a look of faint defiance to the prince, but he took a faint step back, not sure if the queen ment for him to have to leave as well.
