"Of course..." Matias said slipping out of the shadows. There was too much space between them to either to move unnoticed. The stone glowed brighter now.

Mathias' eyes darted between them both. A low rumble emitted from his throat. His grip on the spear tightened and his eyes flashed. "We do, you thief!" He said venomously.

Mathias whirled around to face Ange. "Oh. Holding her hostage like that is real brave of you," He said wolfishly. "Don't resist Amy," He said soothingly. He turned back to Shane. "Let. Her. Go."
