"My condition doesn't matter, I know others are out to harm them." He said.

"Fine. But I'm going with you." The sooner they left to get Ray, the sooner they could get back and Kiara could help Jack. Sitting here arguing was only wasting time.

Jack nodded and went toward the door quickly.

Kiara followed Jack, trusting him to know where Ray would be.
Ray hadn't gone far since their leg gave out again. Ray hadn't given it enough time to heal the last few days and it's been coming back to haunt them. They curled up in a ball, quietly crying. They though Jack had died.

Jack found Ray and ran to them, his own legs giving out right when he got to them. He fell to his knees and begged them to get up. "Ray, Ray." He touched their shoulder, his left arm hugging his torso.

Ray looks up at Jack and without a second thought launched themself at Jack, flinging their arms around Jack and holding him tightly. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." They croak.
Kiara watches the reunion. "Ok, let's get back now so I can fix you two up."

Jack held Ray just as tightly, choking back tears. He nodded and picked Ray up, not letting go of them as he stood.

Kiara heads back to the house, making sure none of the two dropped dead. She enters the house and told Jack to sit down, she was working on him first and she wouldn't take no as an answer.

Jack didn't refuse this time dropping onto the couch but refusing to let go of Ray ever again.

Kiara helps Jack, doing her job well despite the slight obstacle of Jack not wanting to let go of Ray. Then she looks over Ray and helps them as best she could. When the chaos was done and she had finished helping them, the morning was starting. Kiara knew she had to check on Lilith and Robin at some point in time, sooner rather than later.
