Humans were becoming extinct. As far as Basil knew, she herself was the last one for miles. "Whatever you all decide to do, needs to be done quickly. The longer we stand the higher at risk we all are."

She had been keeping an eye on the area around them. She had a feeling in the pit of her stomach that this was going to go down hill very quickly. She kept a tight fist on her knife, ready to whip it out at any second.

"With this..." The ghostly Fjen said, appearing out of nowhere. She raised her hands and they all grew large feathered wings. "Go now! Those wings will get you there and down, but I can only keep them on you for so long! GO!!!" She cried before disappearing.

"The question is, can I actually use these?" She moved her wings in a flying position and shot up into the air. "Well, my question is answered."
