He wasn't sure if he should say anything and so he raised his head again and gave a quante nod.
White was flickering on his freckle scales and underwings but he didn't show his fear, rather raised his chin a bit and pulled his shoulders back a bit with a soft bouncing of his wings.

Mab smiled, amused, and leaned back, observing him with emotionless black eyes. Silence fell for a few heartbeats. "So." The queen tapped her nails with a rhythmic clicking sound. "Here we are. You must think you are very clever, Jason."

"Clever Ma'am?" He said, voice cool and calm but inside he was shuttering in a way no one else could see.

She leaned forward, looking utterly inhuman. "I have heard of your exploits, Jason," the queen rasped, narrowing her eyes. "Did you not think I would find out? You tricked a prince of the Unseelie Court into following you into the Iron Realm. You made him fight your enemies for you. You bound him to a contract that nearly killed him. My precious boy, almost lost to me forever, because of you. How do you think that makes me feel?" Mab's smile grew more predatory.

Jason's heart almost stopped and his mind raced over the past events. He felt guilty gray claw into the under sides of his wings, lining and tracing the cracks under them. He felt so bad,and only his color changing scales showed it. "Almost losing a loved one,one close to your heart I'm assuming.I would assume you would hate me." He replied calmly, though inside he understood loss so much. His family only left was two brothers. The third mentally already gone and gone full cut throat. But knowing she was a mother to Ash,he knew that it would be worse for her than for him to lose his family all over again a million times, even if he had had more time with them.

Mab stared at him, gauging Jason's reaction. If he lost it and begged for mercy, he would find himself trapped in a faery contract before he knew what was happening. Promises are deadly serious among the fey, and hopefully, Jason wasn't going to let Mab strong-arm him into pledging something he would instantly regret.

He let her stare all she liked, keeping calm other than the panicked silver and teal washing over and around his freckles and underwings. He only shifted his weight a bit because his left leg,the one with the enlarging crack, hurt.

(Sorry, had class and forgot to log out)
The Unseelie fey behind him stirred and growled, glancing around warily. Hackles were raised, teeth were bared and claws were unsheathed. For normal faeries, iron was deadly poison, draining their magic and burning their flesh. An entire kingdom made of iron was horrible and terrifying to them; a faery ruler called the Iron King was blasphemous. "I would name you a liar, boy," Mab said calmly, talking about the whole idea of an Iron Realm, as the growls and mutterings behind Jason died down, "if I had not heard the same from my son's own lips. Rest assured, the Iron King's minions are no threat to us. Even now, Ash and his brothers are scouring our territory for these Iron fey. If the abominations are within our borders, we will hunt them down and destroy them."

(It's okay. Lol,I just woke up. I don't know why but I find it funny.)
For a moment,on a small moment,Jason was confused of this topic's appearance. He nodded though, wincing only faintly as a small amount of pain clawed it's way through the enlarged crack for a split second. He then returned to resting some weight on his left leg again.
