Something sharp stabs through that too. He hears Kira yelp in pain- the same thing must've struck her too.

They crash into a massive tree, somewhat like a tree one would find in a rainforest. The gauzy leaves somewhat slow their fall, making the landing on the long grass below a bit less harsh.

There's a white arrow in his wing. There's frost spiderwebbed around where he was hit, and that frost is still spreading.

He grabbed it with his tail and yanked it out, doing the same with the other arrows.

Rodan and Kira both have an arrow in them too. Rodan in one wing, Kira's jutting perilously close to her neck on the top end of her shoulderblade.
