She didn't let the blood touch the ground. She used some blue magic to gently pull it like a ribbon from the right wrist. She used one hand to swirl it around, the other to actually draw away the silvaic ore. They parted like water and oil, the silver becoming an orb in the air and the blood going back in the other wrist.
