Jack, being a trained guard, heard her and quickly he was up and lunged to tackle her; unaware of the knife.

Lilith places the short sword between her and Jack, letting Jack run right into it. She smiles. There was nothing kind about it; it was calculating and cold. Even if she fell back, Lilith would be able to quickly regain ground.

He grit his teeth as he went right onto the sword, but he didn't stop. He pulled it away from the both of them and threw it to the side, teeth clenched.

Lilith draws her dagger, trying to use it to push Jack back. If he died in the process, it would help Lilith get rid of him.
Ray woke up when they realized Jack's warmth was gone. They looked around and called out sleepily, "Jack?" They saw Lilith and tumbled off the couch and jumped to their feet only to fall a second later, their injured leg giving out. They scramble to find their darts or sword, whichever was closest, to use to defend Jack and attack Lilith.

Jack pulled out his own sword from his waist scabbard, wich he never took off. He went at Lilith with it, mostly to fend off her daggers as long as he could. He felt warm liquid already leaking from the wound on his torso.

Lilith decides to play with her prey. They weren't making too much noise and she could always end it if things got a bit crazy.
Ray grabs their darts and tries to step in to help, but Lilith cuts them off with a savage blow to the chest that knocked the breath out of their lungs and pushed them back.

Jack dropped and swung a leg to knock out hers, upset she'd hurt Ray.

Lilith falls, crashing to the floor. She hops to her feet again, not wanting to stay down long.
Ray was trying to get up from where they'd fallen.

Jack struggled to a stand before going to help Ray up as quick as he could.

Lilith went to retrieve her sword before coming after the two. "Aw, you guys are so cute looking out for each other." Lilith notes, putting her daggers away and smiling cruelly at Ray and Jack as she holds her sword at the ready.
Ray accepts Jack's help, shuddering as they glare at Lilith. They notice Jack's bleeding and put their hands over the wound to try and stop the bleeding. "Oh no! She hit you. I'm sorry I dragged you into this. I don't want you to die, too." Ray says plaintively.
