Enoch seemed unfazed by your temper. "I had a pet dragon, a while back. His name was Viron. I found him when he was a young hatchling, back when I could explore. He was killed by the roc in the desert, though," he told you calmly, and then pulled a large blue scale out of his pocket to show you.

Enoch laughed darkly. "I cannot explore now, thank you. That roc nearly took my foot off, if you didn't care to notice my uneven walk. I cannot run, and therefore, I cannot explore. I just don't wish to let that egg die, hence my hesitation in giving it back. Dragons are very, very difficult creatures to take care of."

I won't eat them, but I'll tuck all the nuts into my pack. Lavender is known to be relaxing, so I might be able to use them later. Then I'll look for something I know I can eat.
