Ash studied Jason, shaking his head. "You didn't hear a word I said, did you?"

Jason sighed,the cracks in his neck shuttering a bit. "I heard you...it's just hard...when you kiss like that,and seem so...." He grit his teeth,both pained to talk anymore and not 100% wanting to. The cracks parted a small amount from him talking so much and no longer being held in place.

Ash started to put the binding back on, seeing the cracks beginning to widen just a little. "Yeah," he whispered, "I know. I can only hope that you can tough it out until I can...find a way."

Jason let him put them back on but for a moment,only a moment,gently took one of his hands and pressed it to his bound but cracked chest,a cozy warmth could be felt through his hoodie fabric. He then released it,seeming to give up. The pink again was pounded out of his freckle scales by purple. "Do..you understand...the colors that go over my scales?" He asked softly,wanting something to talk about other than the present situation they where in.

"Not...entirely. I know what pink means, and blue, and I think I might have an idea of what green is. Why?" He asked, trying to calm his now pounding heart.

"Just...wondering. Because I may start hiding most of them,physically. I can explain them to you,so that despite what might happen,you can know what's really happening in me when it shows." The warmth was slowly fading from Jason's chest,the nervous fire that had caused it dying down a bit in him. "My sick green and white at once is terror,white alone is fear." He muttered softly.

He nodded. "Yeah, I tended to notice that...that those colors decorated your scales quite often."

"Heh" He laughed a bit,only a little bit,at that. "Yeah....I'm used to shape shifting goopy things that take over your realm and rip it apart at the very edges,trying to force it to merge with the human realm because your semi twin has anger issues...not....a lot of what's gone on."

"Oh. I thought that you were..." He hesitated. "Scared of me."

He looked to Ash for a moment,deep eyes thoughtful. "Maybe a little at first...but...ugh." He put a hand to his head,sighing. "How do I explain...I don't fear you...I wouldn't want to rile you up or cause you anger...but...I'm not afraid.." He didn't know how to explain. He was used to either fear or no fear,but it was tough when you knew something or someone was a danger and didn't want to get hurt by them but where not afraid of them.
