Granitite put her back in the nest he'd found the egg in, she'd been the only one. She tried to get out of the nest made of purple leaves. "Papa?" She called out.

Slate nestled the little hatchling down into the leaves, using a large bush to cover her as a blanket for some reason.

She tried to wiggle away again, confused.

Yeah.

But then there was a screech and a blurr of feathers and claws, it attacked Granitite. It was huge, taking the dragon down easily.

Slate yelped, trying to run before being attacked as well. Slate was thrown by their own blurr into a tree.
