Kiara got out two decks of cards, plopped them on the table, and declared they were playing Play Nine.
Jacob agrees to play even though he was terrible at this game. Perhaps this time his luck will change. Most likely not.

Ian was willing to play, quite enjoying the game for seeing Jacob lose often was quite a treat.

Jacob didn't like losing. He liked winning, and he usually did win. But he knew he couldn't always win, he had to let others win occasionally. So this game was a good one to play.
