(I felt the need to wrap this roleplay up, I felt kinda bad leaving it unfinished. That's why I'm writing an ending. I'm just pinging you all so you can read it to. I'll put up the final part once I finish writing it (if I write it xD). Please enjoy and there is no need to reply or roleplay, as this is sooooo dead by now lol)
Part 1!
Rose and Carter's sorta battle UwU
"No, I'm not," Hayden said, stepping forward boldly, "I'm here to finish what I started."
The monster turned to look at him, a cold smile on it's face. It didn't speak, it just watched him. Hayden could feel it's stare, but didn't flinch. Then it pointed to the Pit of Hell and Hayden's gaze darted in the direction. A Yagorti, a pure white one. Hayden froze, feeling his head start to throbe. He felt like he should know something, but he couldn't grasp it.
"Hello Hayden. So long it has been, nice to see you again," The Yagorti said softly, chuckling a bit, "You probably don't remember me, please call me Hurricane."
Hayden clutched his staff tighter as Rose turned to give him a questioning glance. He shrugged, stepping forward.
"I don't have time for your words. I know you tricked us, but I don't want to fight," Hayden said with a sigh, he wasn't a hero.
Hurricane smiled as a Valiskie crawled out of the hole. It was blue and purple, green eyes watching them curiously. A man also climbed out. He had hair that was on fire, blue eyes watching them coldly. He wore grey armor, black skin crackling with heat.
"We, we are the Broken Ones. We may have fallen, but we are back to fix your mistakes," Hurricane snarled, "Don't try to stop us."

Rose stepped forward, "I don't care who you are, you must have been trapped in there for a reason. I'll never forgive myself if I let you walk away."
The flaming boy smiled, stepping forward, "Let's dance then darling. It would be a shame to end such a fun game so quickly."
Rose watched in shock as he shifted into a huge black dragon, a fiery mane running down his back. She shifted into a weasel just as he lunged at her, easily dodged out of the way. He kept attacking and she kept dodging.
"Weakling. You can't fight a shapeshifter. You'll only be a halfling, trying and failing to shift. You know what happened to me? I was abandoned! You know why? Because... because they thought my fire power was a curse. Poor Timber they would say," Timber hissed swiping at her again.
She blinked in surprise, remembering a distant memory.
"Why can't I shift like them," Younger Rose had asked, watching the other children shift into different creatures, wishing she could join them.
"Your different my little rose. You have something they do not, creativity. While they can only copy other real things, you can make things your own. Remember that," Her mother had said, hugging her.
Her memories where whisked away as she found herself backed to the edge. Water was behind her, lapping hungrily at her paws. She clung to her mother's words, closing her eyes. She imagined herself as a cat with a nice pair of feathered wings.
"Saying your last prayers," Timber sneered, but Rose ignored him, focusing on her thoughts.
She could feel herself change as Timber gasped in surprise. She opened her eyes, she could see herself in the water. She was a pink cat, it had worked! She opened her wings, taking off into the sky. She could feel the wind stir behind her as Timber followed. She kept herself soar higher and higher in the air, feeling free at last. She turned around, staring down. The island was only a tiny dot. She found herself glancing around, her breathing making small mist clouds in the air. It was small, it was so breathe taking. That feeling didn't last for long though.
"Who are you! How can you do that," Timber roared as he caught up to her, watching her with narrowed eyes.
She stayed quiet, watching him. She would have to beat him with speed. She imagined herself with a huge pair if claws, smiling as she flexed her paws, revealing the long claws that where once hidden under soft fur. She darted forward, running her claws against his scales. She could feel the heat on her paws, her claws starting to melt from the heat. Timber roared in pain, much to her relief. She darted to his wing, barely dodging his claws as he swiped at her. She let herself land on the wing, tearing it as she slid downwards. She the flew higher watching him try to regain his balance. She knew she would never defeat him like this, she watched his wing heal. She tried to dodge out of the way as Timber batted her out of the air. She couldn't fly anymore as she started to plummet. She closed her eyes, imagining that she was a huge squid. She opened her eyes, it had worked. She wrapped her tenticales around Timber, pulling him down with her. He roared in protest, his scales burning her, badly.
"Rosemary, my name is Rosemary," She yelled at him as his gaze filled with shock, "I don't care if we both die!"
He was silent for a moment before speaking, "Sis-ster," He stuttered as Rose glanced at him.
She didn't let go, she didn't care if he was telling the truth or not, this was the end. She suddenly hit the ocean, it felt like hitting concrete. She felt pain, so much, then she was lost in the darkness...
~~~~~~~~~~
Carter watched in shock as Rose flew away. She had wings! It shocked him, but it didn't take his thoughts away from the huge monster in front of him. The thing was so huge, it was so scary. He could feel it watch him, a huge grin on it's face.
"Something wrong Carter? Are you scared," It asked chuckling a bit as Carter shivered, taking a step back.
He watched in silence as the blue purple Valiskie darted forward towards Hayden, a spear in hand. He could only watch for a couple seconds before the ground disappeared under his feet. He screamed in shock, feeling himself fall lower and lower. He finally landed on the ground, if you could call it that. It was black and as he landed he sunk about a foot. He wrinkled his nose in disgust, shivering from the cold.
"Hello," He called, looking around in confusion. "Where am I?"
"Your in my mind... to die," The creature hissed, making Carter jump in surprise.
He looked around, he couldn't see anything, just darkness and the black goo. He walked forward, the gooey ground making it hard to move. He could feel panic rise up in him, Is this where I'm going to die? He pushed that thought aside as he looked around. He could feel something creep up his legs and looked down. He was sinking in the goo! He tried to pull himself away, only causing himself to sink deeper. He yelped in panic, flailing wildly. It was up to his waist now, slowly pulling him down. He could feel his breathing quicken in panic as he froze for a second. He felt a hand on his head, he shivered, already knowing who's it was. The thing, it was watching him. He didn't know how, but he knew that it was amused. He took a deep breathe as he was pushed under the goo.
He burst out of a pond, landing on the sandy land as be gasped for air. He looked around, realizing he was surrounded by birch trees. Then he saw a boy, a boy with hair as black as night, near one of the smallest birch trees. He was wearing old ragged brown clothes. He didn't even have shoes on, much to Carter's shock. He had dark brown skin and as Carter walked closer he realized the boy was crying. He felt bad, so he kneeled in front of the boy, shivering a bit as a cold wind blew around him.
"It'll be alright," He said, feeling like he was saying it mostly to comfort himself.
The boy looked up and Carter yelped in surprise, his eyes looked just like that... monster.
"It's not fair! Why can't we lift the curse? You promised you would find a way," The boy shouted and Carter finally understood, this was a memory.
He turned around, there was an old man sitting behind him, crying too. He had mattered black hair and dull brown eyes. He wore tattered blacksmith clothes. Carter looked around in surprise, what curse where they talking about?
"I tried, I'm so sorry. They won't even listen unless I give them money," The man said in a low, tired voice.
"Then give them money! Don't you care about me? I thought you did," The boy yelled standing up and glaring at the man. "You don't care at all!"
"I do, please understand. I barely have money to feed us, let alone enough to pay what they demand."
"No, your making excuses! If you cared you would find a way! Luckily, I have," The boy stepped forward, pulling out a knife.
Carter gasped in shock, feeling terrified. He expected to stab him with the knife, but he walked through him completely. He looked at the man as he fell backwards in shock and fear.
"What... what are you d-doing?"
"What I should have done long ago," The boy hissed raising his knife.
Carter looked away, shaking as the man screamed... then all was quiet. He closed his eyes, painfully aware of what had just happened. He needed to get out of here. Then he remembered... he could lift curses. He frowned, he should have done this a long time ago. He reached forward, touching the boys forehead. He then closed his eyes, focusing.
He opened his eyes, expecting to find himself back in the memories. He was standing in front of the older version of the boy, his hand on his forehead. The boy looked shocked, crying.
"You... you li-ifted the curse," The boy muttered in shock, lifting his hands up to look at, "You... saved me."
Carter stepped back, exhausted. He still had to do one more final thing... |
