Alice glanced over at Mitch."Yeah," she says. She wished she could be more like Kanin, who was able to be nice all the time. He could convey his emotions pretty well. However, he was also the only one who could decode her emotions.

"I am glad. Thank you," Kanin said, pleasantly surprised to be making friends already. "What thing?" Kanin asked Liz, tilting his head, causing his ears to flop over.

"That's what I was worried about!" Orion said, looking back in the direction Jora had left. He hoped she came back soon. He didn't want to mess it up again.

"Could we stop by my dorm? I wanna check if my roommate's there, even though everyone says she's gone at night." Saffy said, looking up the stairs in the direction of her room.

Mitch nodded continuing to play his guitar a little bit faster. He wasn't sure what to think of Alice. She seemed unfriendly one minute and shy the next.

Liz looked at him. "Hm?" She said pausing before figuring out what he meant. "Oh, just some climbing stuff and other things I like to do at night." She said looking at A'ine. "Well I'm sure I catch you guys later." She said walking off quickly.

Alderic tilted his head before glancing at A'ine who seemed slightly relieved the girl was leaving. A'ine noticed his questioning look and shrugged a little. "Well, let's go." He said moving, Aine walking next to him.

A'ine walked a little slightly relieved to have to try and make more people think she looked okay. 'If you start to fall just hold onto my arm.' She heard Alderic think. She smiled a little glancing at her friend with a smile.

Phinesa nodded a little turning to walk up the stairs. "Up we go!" She said smiling.

"Ember seemed to want to be alone. What's that about?" Alice asked in a seemingly uninterested voice. She generally didn't really want to talk all that much, but she remembered Kanin telling her to at least attempt conversation. Besides, she was genuinely interested.

Ember wandered farther away, pausing at the edge of the cliff. She had never been afraid of heights, so she sat on the edge, with her legs dangling off the side.

Orion noticed the strange air between A'ine and Liz, but since Liz was leaving anyway, he decided to ignore it. Instead he focused on refraining from looking behind him. He didn't want to seem overly worried about Jora.

Kanin looked in the direction Liz went, a bit suspicious of her fast exit. He turned his attention back to the group in front of him.

Saffy grinned, hurrying to catch up with Phinesa. When they made it to her dorm room, she knocked, just in case her roommate was in the room.

Mitch looked back towards where he figured Ember had gone. "I think she just isn't used to too many people." He said with a small smile still looking at the trees.

A'ine glanced back at Orion, not able to help feeling his concern. She glanced back at Alderic who had noticed her looking at Orion. "Something wrong?" He whispered to her out loud but quietly. "Not sure." She whispered tripping a little but not falling.

Alderic didn't like how perfectly fine A'ine looked after saying she had tripped all over the woods. He didn't really like how she tripped just then, glad she didn't fall. He sighed putting his arm around her shoulders. "I don't want you falling again." He teased her blushing slightly a the thought of how'd it'd look to anyone who wasn't in their little friend circle.

Phinesa smiled as Saffy knocked waiting a moment before knocking again. "I guess shes still out..." She said with a sad sigh.

Alice nodded, noting his smile. "So, are your friends coming back soon?" she asked, flopping down onto a log. She picked up a stick and began to poke the fire.

Orion jerked his head up at the sound of talking. He noticed a glow coming through the trees. "Hey guys look! The fire," he said, pointing towards the glow. He noticed it was a lot smaller than it had been when they had left. He hoped the others were still there.

"Darn it... Well, do you want to go to your room then?" Saffy asked, wanting to see Saquia again. She was really disappointed that she still couldn't meet her roommate. She had been waiting for a while now. Well, to her two days was a while to wait.

Mitch shrugged, stopping playing the guitar. "I don't know, soon maybe." He said with a slight smileas he thought for a bit strumming the cords for 'I'm Still Here' again.

Alderic looked back at Orion before looking at the fire. It seemed pretty small to him from when he made it. He'd have to go back to find more wood after he made sure A'ine would be okay.

Phinesa smiled a little at Saffy, hoping to cheer her up some. "Yeah! Maybe she's still awake."

Ember cocked her head. She was close enough to the fire to see the faint glow of it, and she could hear Mitch playing a familiar tune. She began singing the lyrics rather softly. "I am a question to the world, not an answer to be heard, or a moment that's held in your arms."

Orion focused on picking up sticks for the fire as he walked. He looked up in surprise when he saw a hand picking up a stick next to the one he had just retrieved. Kanin smiled politely back at him. "May I help?" Kanin asked politely. "Of course," Orion answered, slightly confused why Kanin was asked permission to help.

Kanin was glad he had a chore to focus on. He adjusted the sticks in his arms and looked up towards the fire. "You must introduce me to your friends by the fire," Kanin said to Orion. "Oh, right! Of course we will," Orion replied.

Saffy grinned. "Well, I'll make sure to meet my roommate tomorrow. Let's go see Saquia!" she said, yelling the last bit. She grabbed Phinesa's hand, and took off towards the stairs.

Mitch hummed the lyrics a little smiling to himself. He blushed slightly thinking about Ember glad the firelight already had his face looking red so that his blush couldn't be seen.

Alderic looked back at Orion and Kanin. "You guys dont have to do that. I was gonna get some after we got back." He said smiling thankfully at them as A'ine tripped a little bit again almost knocking them both over but Alderic caught them with a tree branch.

A'ine looked up at Alderic apologetically, not trusting herself to speak, scared she'd let her guard down.

Phinesa smiled back nodding laughing a little when she pulled her hand to get her to go. She looked down the top of the stairs trying to be careful not to trip or slip.

Ember stared down the cliff face. The drop far enough to kill her if she slipped. Still, she hung her legs over the side, knowing if she fell she could always transform and fly away. She leaned back, still singing softly.

Alice leaned back against the log, staring up at the sky as she listened to the music. It was so different from the music back home. This music seemed more free and casual, and Alice liked it.

"It's no problem really," Orion said. When the two tripped, he spoke again. "Ah, are you two alright?" he asked.

Kanin continued to pick up sticks, wondering why A'ine kept tripping. He kept quiet though, and focused on the sticks.

Saffy paused on the second step from the top of the stairwell. "Oh, would the elevator be easier?" she asked, having momentarily forgotten Phinesa's hooves.

Mitch looked at his guitar strings before glancing back at Alice. "Have you ever heard this song before?" He asked her wondering a little if he should sing some, he really did like this song.

A'ine glanced back at Orion with a slight smile. "Y-yeah... Just a little slip on my part." She said her voice shaking slightly at the beginning as she tried to concentrate. She glanced back smiling at Alderic gratefully.

Alderic smiled a little back wiggling his eyebrows making A'ine chuckle a small laugh. Alderic walked through the trees getting back to the fire, letting go of A'ine when they got to the flatter ground. "There! Now, Who wants s'mores?!" He yelled smiling at the new girl wondering where Ember was.

Phinesa shoo her head a little. "Na, I'm good, jst got to go a little slower." She said with a bright smile.
