"Hey! Let me go," She growled shifted back into her human form unintentionally as she tried to swing at him with her sword again, everything starting to get fuzzy.

Latte was silent, not sure what to say. He stood their awkwardly, looking uncomfortable.

"Sorry, can't." He said, picking her up rather gently in his talons.

Abyss took a moment to get hold of himself again, then sighed. "I'm tired of rules. They always go against me and my existence and survival."

She dropped her sword, closing her eyes.
"Can't..." She trailed off as she fell unconscious.

"I'm sorry about that," He said with a sigh as he looked away.

He sighed, then reached up and put her on his back. He walked into a dark alley, scratching at the shadows.

Abyss was about to reply when there was a scratching on the seeming cieling of the large room. "Jaspy!" He said excitedly, not liking to be away from his best friend. He clapped, opening up a black void on the ceiling. Jasper, in dragon form, carefully slunk in.

"Miss me?" Jasper asked Abyss, an honest question.

Abyss cheered, hugging one of Jaspers legs. "YES! VERY MUCH SO!"

Jasper sighed in relief, lowering down and sliding Chikatu off his back. He then shifted to his human form, hugging Abyss back.

Latte ran over to Chikatu, paling a bit.
"Chi," He whispered pulling her close, "You hurt her!"
He knew without looking where she was hurt, placing a hand on her leg. She winched before letting out a small sigh as Latte pulled his hand. He hugged her close, trembling a bit in fear.

Jasper sighed, resting his head on Abyss's shoulder. "I didn't hurt her, she jumped of a roof and she hurt her leg from landing wrong."

"But you sorta caused that." Abyss said.

Jasper nodded. "True. I'm sorry about that."

Abyss said nothing more, snuggling against Jasper happily. "You're back and shall stay back. I demand it."

(Me: I shhhiiipppp it. Foxy: Uh... what? Me: Ship ship ship Jasbyss! Ship shhiiiippppp)

Latte didn't say anything, just pulled a bunch of herbs from his pocket.
"Ok ok... Lemon Balm for me... we need to... well you should be f-fine with some rest," He talked to himself, his hands shaking a bit, "Th-hen just... calm down."
He looked shocked as he pushed his glasses up, not really able to take in what was happening. He breathing was faster now, panicked. It was obvious how bad he was in stressful situations.

(I mayyyy have designed them that way just for a ship...)

Abyss looked over and noticed.

Jasper let go of his friend as the shadow ran off.

Abyss ruffled through a trunk of things, and pulled out a wool blanket. He came over and draped it over Latte's shoulders. "When I first existed, I found this. It helped me calm down, if that's what you want to do."

Jasper sighed. "When you have captives, you don't exactly treat them like that, Abyss."

Abyss sighed. "I know."

Latte looked both shocked and relieved. He nodded, shakily pushing his glasses up.
"Your soul looks all black, like a black hole. There's little small glints of different colors, it's really pretty," He finally said looking a bit calmer as he held the blanket anxiously.

Abyss tilted his head. "Souls.... can look different colors?" He asked, sounding a bit awed.

Jasper wasn't sure what to do with them now. How did they figure out where the library is, these two seemed pretty in place when it came to talking.
