She sits near by him, still happy to munch on her few that she had from the last bush.

Suddenly, there's a loud snapping noise, and a moment later she finds there's netting wrapped tightly around both her and Khaine.

Fern is shocked, wings flaring a bit but only feeling the net.

Khaine starts flapping his wings, trying to get free, but that just tangles them up more.

"Ah!" Fern yelps. She tries to bite the weird netting.

As they keep struggling, it keeps tightening.

"Stop. W-we have to stop." Fern said after a bit, getting herself to still.

She can feel him shaking, but he stops.

She puts a wing over him. "We'll be okay. Let's just think this over." She said, then let out a call to 'see' how the net was fashioned.

Its fabric is thick, and there's very, very tiny barbs on the fabric that allow the net to cling to their scales and hence tangle easily. It's tied in a strange way; she's never found a tie pattern like this before. It has two layers, the inner being circular and the outer triangular. There's a little trap-trigger right under the leaves of the nightshade bush.
