"Thanks." She took his jacket. "Are you sure you won't be cold?" She looked at Zach before starting down the path.

(Which path? Charlotte's path or the road most travelled.)

(Charlotte's because Selene doesn't want to interact with people at the moment.)

"You're welcome. Yup. I won't get cold. I'm naturally hot." Zach pauses and blushes, "I mean, I naturally conduct more heat. It's a dragon thing. I had the jacket as more of a comfort thing. Others may have their blankets or whatever, I prefer my jacket." That sounded more embarrassing out loud.
Charlotte skips ahead with bounds of energy. The path was small and could only be one person at a time, one side framed by the mountain's stoney rise and the other dropping off into seeming nothingness. Charlotte doesn't seem effected, she just keeps on trotting at her fast pace.
"I know some folk up ahead that will give us lodging for the rest of the night." Charlotte says. "Ray is a vampire and Samuel is an elf. They're really nice. Samuel probably will be asleep. Ray is... he might be out and about, hunting, but then again he might be there."

"Well I mean... you are sort of hot..." She coughed before interjecting into Charlotte's conversation. "Um, so what are you exactly Charlotte?"

Charlotte pauses, her face clouding over. Then a moment later she is herself. "Not a clue. My mother is said to be a Sphinx, but I doubt it. My father is rumored to be the leader of the Labyrinth, so that is why I was curious when you said you had escaped the Labyrinth. But I don't know what that would make me. I look pretty human so maybe those rumors are just rumors." She shrugs.

"I mean, I would hope you wouldn't be a ball of gas Sphinx thing. That would be weird. Really weird." She hugged the cliff face as she closed her eyes. "Don't look down. It's a long way down, so don't look down. Why did I have to have philophobia?!" She looked up.

"Because everyone is afraid of something?" Charlotte offers for an explanation.
"Fefifofum. I smell the blood of a little one." Someone says up ahead. Charlotte giggles and races forward, giving the adult vampire a big hug. "Who are these folk?" Ray asks, gesturing to Selene and Zach when the two were done hugging.
"My new friends, Zach and Selene. They came from the Labyrinth and need a place to sleep." Charlotte chirps.
"Welcome. Sam is sleeping, and if you dare wake him up I will tear you to shreds." Ray says cheerfully as he leads you to a door in the mountain wall where the path is wider. Ray opens the door and steps inside, "Sam had said some folk were coming tonight and we had to be prepared. If that one came true, let's hope his other future possibility isn't."

"Well I'll cheerfully put in that if you wake me up in the morning I will also tear you to shreds with my teeth alone." She opened her eyes and walked sort of slowly towards the vampire and Charlotte.

Charlotte bounces inside the mountain house, hopping over to a blanket basket with all types of fur blankets. She grabs a blanket that looks absolutely fluffy, and probably came from a mountain goat or something. Zach slips in after her and watches as she curls herself next to a slow burning fire, putting the blanket over her and falling asleep almost instantly.
There was a bed, but someone, probably Sam, was already sleeping on it.
Zach decides to follow Charlotte's lead and grabs a blanket. He places his pack down to act as a pillow and offers it to you, getting another blanket for you as well.
