Ray looks up and smiles. "Good morning." He says, finishing the flower crown. He gets up, brushes himself off and then hands Micah a flower crown a rather childish gesture. He rocks back on his heels, folding his arms behind his back as he looks at Micah, somewhat afraid that he had done something wrong. But the guy liked flowers and so he had tried to do something that he likes but... maybe he had done something completely wrong.

Micah smiled and examined the flower crown. "This is gorgeous, Ray, and really well made!" He sat beside Ray, putting on the flower crown.

(I forgot to ping you in the last post, sorry-!)

"Thanks," Ray sighs in relief, scooting closer to Micah before shaking his head and scooting back to his original place. He was here for business and it would stay that way. It had to. He couldn't tie down. That would cause for disaster.

(Sorry if my responses slow down a bit, I'm in class)

Micah raised one eyebrow at him. "You okay?"

(Focusing on class is a good thing.)

"Um... Yes. I am fine and doing well. The situation I am in, not quite." Riley says, doodling in the sand. "I am just here to ally our two myths together so we can fight off the monsters, which should keep them back for at least another year once we've finished, but after that I am back to my usual duties." He paused and looks up. "Wait. If it does keep the monsters back for a year than I don't have to do my duties and I can stay with you!" He grins and tackles Micah with a hug. He then recomposes himself and gets off Micah, apologizing over and over again.

Micah sat up, laughing. "It's okay, Ray. And I'd really like having you around." Micah dusted the sand off of the back of his shirt. "So would Janet and Silvia, I think."

Ray nods, fighting to not blush or die with embarrassment. "Yes. I would like to stay around them too." He brushed the sand out of his hair, careful to avoid his sharp horns.

Micah nodded. "Janet will be happy to hear that..." He pulled his knees close to his chest, looking at Ray. "So... How are we supposed to do this?"

Ray looks sheepishly at Micah. "I was sort of hoping you guys would know. I may know the best ways to guard the gates to keep my monsters back, may know how to kill my monsters, may know how to wrangle them back in their cage. But I don't know your guys' myths that well. And I can't be in that many places at once. Trust me, I've tried and failed."
