Latif nodded thoughtfully. "I see. You don't seem to have anyone to spare at the moment, so I'd be willing to go look for him."

"Mrs. Mary lost her son, Sir Kevin, to the Cavalli Group. She needs someone to save him, and that someone will be you. I'm taking you to Captain Naomi. She will assist you."

"Most likely, no. If you make the right choice, perhaps a kind person might assist you. Any more questions?"

"I'll go get Captain Naomi."

He comes back a few minutes later with a tall woman in armor. Her appearance practically yells she's a leader. She walks over to you and shakes you're hand.

"You must be the breakfast loving traveler. We must go before they do anything bad to Sir Kevin. Who knows what crimes they may make him commit. Do you desire anything before we leave?"

After choosing to go left, you find yourself taking a winding road, which is really just peoples footprints after so many travels.

At least there's some form of civilization. Unless they're all barbarians....

No! You wont let dark thoughts fill your mind. You focus on happy thoughts for the next few hours of doubting if you're on an actual path. You do find a small sort of civilization with small houses made of sticks and twigs. The people do, however, look to be at least somewhat civilized since they all seemed to have bathed within the last week.

You find your way to a board with the ancient language you were forced to study in your upper schooling before your adventuring career. You make out the Quest List, and there are 6 listings. Just as you were leaving, a guard comes up to you and pushes you to the ground.

"What business do you have here?"

"Perfect. I'll alert Mrs. Mary. Before you go, would you like someone to accompany you? I'm sure the captain of this village would be willing to go with you."

"I have whatever business I want to have here," I reply, somewhat mockingly.
