"Slow your questions! One at a time!" They start snickering a bit. "Alright, Nia is a recruit from the previous patrol, she decided to lead us all in a fight we couldn't win. I managed to escape but I do not know what happened to the rest of the patrol." They take a small breath. "Two, I've been hiding in there for a while, you all looked like you had that little one handled so I stayed put." They take another small breath. "And three, no because everyone accused me of lying and killing an entire patrol, I'm stuck on camp guard duty. Mai wants me on the next patrol with him however, dunno who else he's taking." They then claps their hands together and exhales a bit. "No more questions? Great. Perfect. Who wants to fetch Mai and then ditch him?"

Eron steps in. "You will not ditch him, Ceru. That is an order. Not from me, from the Coalition founder." he seems to be at odds with them, as Ceru shrugs.

"Dude the founder doesn't know what she's doing. I am perfectly capable of leading another patrol." Ceru smirks a bit and holds their ground.

Moxie forms a small bit of magic and blips it at the Shadow, only dealing 1 damage.
Shade lunges forward and slashes at the hide of the Shadow, dealing 5 damage
The Shadow roars in anger and brings down it's wing on Shade, dealing 5 damage.

"Alright, let's rescue this sylesti before we need to call for backup!"

Eron rolls his eyes however. "Yeah sure. No one believed you when you said you were a sentient gargoyle either." Shade sticks her ghostly tongue out at Lucifer, who glares back.

Shade once again slashes at the hindquarters of the Shadow, dealing 5 damage.
The shadow roars with anger and brings it's wing down on Moxie, but moxie is too fast. It misses with a normal attack!

"Well, he definitely seems like he has the right personality for a sentient gargoyle, so i'm not dismissing that possibility. He seems like the type of person who gets in and out of extreme danger, so a excellent scout, but it seems that like it is bad for your health to be with him unless you are able to do the same."

I turn towards Ceru
"So i doubt that i will be joining you with your patrol, as i doubt my ability to survive extremely dangerous situations yet, I also don't actually know who is in charge, and that seems like a thing i should learn before i do anything major, like joining a patrol."
