So the table are in silence, all but the man who seemed to be eyeing them all with his now normal eyes. Once the meal was done Rosalyn looked to the children. "Why don't you start at the beginning? Maybe it will help me better understand what is happening."

None of the three offer any explanation.

Rosa grew cross. "If I have to call upon one of you to answer me so help me." She threatened.

"I'm not the one who attacked the idiot." Neko flicks her tail.

"Start from when and where you found him. Leave no details out. Then we will move on to his story."

"We found him in a cave and he was pretty close to dead. Kelpie used her venom to close the wound and we brought him here. Then he decided rocks are more important than manners so he attacked."

"It's not a rock." The man snapped. "I don't know why you keep calling it that. It's an egg you idiots." He said standing. "Neither I nor it is safe here. If anyone asks we were never even here."
"Hold on a second-!" Though the woman's words were drowned out by a sudden explosion. The blast sent Dexion flying, the shrapnel from the table cutting into his bare arms and legs. Dazed he looked about the smoke filled room. The man lay partly on top of him, blood dripping from some of his new injuries. There was a sudden flash and the room grew dark as if everything was cast in shadow. There was asudden hand about his shoulders then one about his waist. It was all he could do not to cry out as he was touched. Something dug into his middle though he was unsure as to what. Then he felt a body under him, though he wasn't sure who.

He broke through the darkness, the children grasped under his arms as he bolted forward towards the tree line. Perched on his shoulders now was a small white dragon. Behind them the building went up in smoke, flames licking away at the dried wood. Wincing some the man continued forward into the safety of the tree line. Once in the woods he continued to run forward, effortlessly carrying all four children. He stopped only as they reached the caves, collapsing once inside.

Kelpie and Eirini are trembling. Neko is also freaked out, but she's a lot better at hiding it.

Dexion groggily sat up, a dark patch on his head indicating that he had been struck. It took him a moment to fully realize was was happening. "Is everyone alright?" He asked forcing himself to stand. He winced as he stretched his chest and side burning. There was a dark stain on his side from an injury as well. The man stirred some clearly weak now from the experience.

Eirini catches Kelpie as the girl suddenly faints. Neko frowns, staring mildly at an injury on her leg.
