As the bird imploded he simple rolled his eyes. "Typical. You know that's been the third to do that lately. I'll have to make a meantal note to try and find a why to prevent that from happening." When he turned to the elf he could see the look of discomfort. "Don't worry Amatus...our secret is still safe." He said again drawing the elf close, holding him in a hug. "But you need to get going before someone gets suspicious. I'll distract the guard and you slip out through the back."
"Got it, just give me a few minutes." The elf nodded. With that Dorian exited the room while extinguishing the lantern.
"Mike do you have a moment?" The king asked.

Amicus screamed in rage as dark shadows shot out from his body. They tore apart the encampment. No one had ever seen him have a fit, but he couldn't hold back his anger and despair any longer. Why did he get sent back?! He was useless here! Mira was going to get herself killed! He sank to the ground tears starting to stream down his face.

Mike had seen the cat get out and escape. He'd tried to shoot her with an arrow, but she got away to quickly. He shouted to all the guards and ran passed where the king was. He stopped short and turned to Dorian. He bowed quickly. "I am afraid not. That stupid cat transformed and squeezed out of her cell! I'm sending everyone after her now." And it was true. Back up was coming to save the lady guard who was attacking Mira and who was being attacked by the cat girl.
