She drooped, "Awh.. now I'll have to wait until shes back.."

"Don't -cough- worry!" Finch said, not wanting her to feel sad, "I'm sure she'll be back soon!"

He looked at the leaf "So, uh, what IS it you want to show her?"

She nodded, bounding in a circle with in before facing him again, chest puffed out, "it's nothing I've ever seen before"

"... It's a special leaf? Is it a prophecy leaf?" Finch asked, confused.

"Whats a leaf?" she asked, curious

Finch stared at her for a moment before sighing and sitting down.

"A 'leaf' is like a heart for trees. Without the leaves, the tree would die, unable to feed itself. -cough- And when it is full of leaves, then the tree prospers. Understand so far?"

She tilted her head and purred, not idea what he was saying, still being a young youth. She began trotting around him, leaf in her mouth happily.

"So, uh, changing subjects, what's your name? I'm Finch!" he stated, flicking his tail around.

"Arico" she purred, dropping the leaf and jumping onto it, but carefully not ripping it. Her blind eye never blinked, it just stared creepily without it's pupil at Finch, but she did realise. She trusted him enough to show her blind side.

"That's a nice name! So, do you think you'd be a good apprentice? I hope I'm good!"
