Will sat on a couch in the emerald green Slytherin common room, reading A Standard Book of Spells (Grade 5).

I sat on my bed, not knowing what to do. Some other students were still awake, but most were asleep. I pulled out a book on dragons and start to read, falling asleep with my face in the pages.

She sat up on her bed and stared at the drawing pad upon her lap, a husky bounded across the page, it's legs stretched out trying to race to the other side. It's chest lifted above it's legs as if it had just leaped and it's tail raised up, almost curling round. Ears pulled back and mouth wide open, it's tongue hanging out. No paws touched the ground and it's chest stayed white, stretching to it's legs and up it's face, while the rest remained a dark grey. Up in the top left corner a scribbled name lay, 'Kiki.' A gentle smile settled on her face.

Will stood up and stretched, then grabbed his dark, ebony wood wand off the table. He left the common room and headed towards the Hogwarts kitchens for a late-night snack.

Rolling out of bed, Thalia neatly placed her sketch pad under her pillow and made her way down to the common room. She slumped down infront of the fire and held her hands out in front of it.

Will crept past the portraits and headed towards the kitchens, tickling the pear portrait to get inside. He was greeted by a pretty house elf.
"Hello, what's your name?" he asked the elf.
"Name's Winky sir!" the elf said, bowing deeply to him.
"I was wondering if I could get a snack. A small one." he said.
"Oh yes sir! Winky will get a snack for you! Just sit right here please." she said, pushing a stool over to him. "Thanks Winky." he told the elf.
"Any time sir!" she squeaked.

Warmed by the crackling fire, she drifted in and out of consciousness before finally falling asleep, her face lit by the orange flame.

Will was walking back to his common room with a small pasty in his hand, a departing gift from the house elf Winky.

Thalia's sleep was filled with dreams of her parents, they weren't as happy as she wouldn't hope. They were disappointed, always disappointed, they screamed and yelled, faces red from the shouting but she couldn't hear, she didn't know what they were saying. Turning around, she saw a face, someone she knew very well... Herself and she only looked at one person the way she was looking, her sister... She jolted from her dreams and laughed quietly to herself. What a random dream.

Will decided to head up to the Astronomy Tower, to get a glimpse of the stars. He loved the stars. As he walked by the Ravenclaw common room entrance, he tripped, crashing into a suit of armour.
"Merlin's pants!" he cursed, pulling himself into a standing position.
