She flattened her ears sadly in the silence taking a moment to listen to the outside before returning to the spot where the blanket was and curling up underneath of it.After Kattan had fallen asleep A small white bat fluttered in clumsily curling up under the blanket with Katana.

Ben, who was just about ready to give his announcement, was about to jump up onto a stack of boxes and get everyone's attention when he noticed a new face.

"Chat! How are you? How's your first week in the family been?" he asked, calling out to catch his attention.

He smiled cheesily " Good Sir.... um I do have a report for patrol though"

"Good, good. Well, I better not keep you long. Though I need you to tell your group to hold off for a short while. I have an announcement to make," Ben said, nodding in acceptance.

Chat nodded and listened closely

Jumping onto the stack of boxes in front of him, Ben barked out loudly, "Everyone, lend me your attention please! We've got a spot of trouble going on! Our friends in the Ryker Heights Hoodlums group are running out of food resources. Now, the reason for this is because their supplier of food has gone missing! You all remember who that is, don't you? The Red Hood has been missing for a while now, so, if he isn't found soon, they'll go hungry soon! We need all eyes and ears if we're going to find him! Sam is going to have his group listening for any new rumors of his whereabouts, so we'll be giving a hand to Chloe's group on snooping through the metal houses. Everyone understand?"

Getting a commotion of affirmatives, Ben nodded gratefully, "Alright, that's everything! You're all free to go!"

Hopping off the boxes, he addressed Chat one last time before the other left for patrol, "You and the rest stay safe and smart out there."

He nodded "Yes SIr!..... Oh and there is evidence of a coon t the entrance to one of the alleyways..." Chat said before bolting off

"Urg! Damn 'coons! They need to just go away! Why can't they learn their lessons, this territory is ours!" Ben groaned loudly with a few others that overheard Chat's absolutely joyous news.

Katana slept silently until the light from the manhole began to shine in her eyes. she got up and grabbed the blanket resting it on her back. she did not notice it before but she began to hear a familiar squeaking noise. "Tikki!" she yelled in excitement and surprise. the small bat propped herself up on her feet and Yawned "Kat...You know you don't Have to Yell... some of us are Nocturnal" she said before flopping back down on the floor. Katana sighed Id didn't seem that anyone was up yet " Well I lost the bag in the..... ya know .. anyhow your bags gon so we will have to get you another one....... and we have to do it before everyone gets up" Katana said nudging the small bat to get up "Why.... I just fell asleep... just carry me" Katana growled slightly a bit frustrated "Tikki.... if you don't get up I will make you sleep outside" with that the small bat shot up flapping her wings briefly before landing on Katanas Rump. " Okay lets go " Katana said Lifting her tail like an umbrella before paddling out ito the sunlight. "How did you even find me Tiki We got split up pretty bad Katana asked "I heard your singing last night just as pretty as always" Tikki responded. Katana flattened her ears and blushed a bit keeping silent the rest of the way.

When Sam woke up the next morning, it was very early with the sun just barely starting to flicker through the man-hole. He was woken by the sound of flapping wings, which was strange to him because, to his knowledge, there weren't any birds or bats in the Chinatown Tags. He shook off his sleep and placed his paws against the broken train console so he could look out the dusty windows. Sure enough, there was a bat flying around the camp square.

He was about to get up and go speak to it when it swooped down to Katana, it's high-pitched squeaks waking the fellow fox. He watched the two exchange words, Katana whispering something back sternly as the little bat started to drift off into sleep.

Deciding to startle the two, Sam pushed open the revolving window and suddenly said, "Mornin', Chickadee! Mind introducin' me to yer adorable friend?"
