"Don't-dont let me be a burden..." Anubis said his voice cracking as he lowered his body to the floor of the den. "If you have something you were doing by al means don't let me stop you...beta." He said having over heard the word used. He was out of place here, this was a high wolf's den no place that he should be allowed to go.

She turned and looked at Swordfern, and she sighed with relief. ''Good, you are unharmed. And to answer your question.. I have no idea..'' She pressed her nose to the strange wolf's fur, trying to spot his wounds. She found none other than a small cut on his shoulder. ''I think he's just exhausted and weak.'' She looked at Noal and her gaze softened ''We will go on that walk. I promise'' she gently pressed her nose to his neck and stepped out. ''We must go back to the meeting, Shadow! Could you keep guard? This could still be a ruse..'' She headed back towards Venom, once again , sitting on his right.

He winced as she touched his shoulder which had nearly healed from a heavier injury in which he had obtained while trying to take out a young moose by himself. The blow from it had shattered his shoulder though with rest it had managed to heal almost perfectly on its own. All that remained now was the jagged scar that ruined his moon like birth mark on his shoulder. Anubis didn't care what the others had to say he was safe for once, safe enough to sleep. Slowly he closed his eyes as he laid his head on his paws. Tomorrow he would eat, if they brought him anything that was. Tonight was for sleep, and sleep alone if they allowed it.

Shadow nodded and went back to his post.

Swordfern looked unsure for a few seconds, nodded, and trotted to the meeting spot.

Noal smiled then stepped out. He went to sit back by Althea. "Thanks.." he mummered.

Uru nodded to Althea, her wise eyes knowing the new wolf was no threat. "Althea, he is not of the Lore pack. Hes been alone a while." she said. She then lifted her head as high as possible, to show to the new wolf she was Alpha female. She looked at her pack. "The Whispers pack and the Lore pack are allying up. The rogues are packing up, in greater numbers than we can stand up to. The Lore pack will help us defend our territory." she said, loud enough for Shadow to hear.

Venom nodded. After Uru finished, he spoke. "My pack will guard both our territory and yours. My patrols with go with your patrols and none will attack any of your members if yours do the same." he said.

Skit sat behind Venom. She tried her best not to growl.

Dante howled. "Damara, awaken!" he howled. Then he saw Bano return. "Where have you been?" he growled. "If you dare do that, you are down ranked to hunter and you will hunt with Damara." he growled.

Bano returned to Lore camp. "Beta, i meant no harm but Alpha Venom has wolves of their pack are surrounding him. I meant to protect him.

(do Beta's, lead warriors and lead hunters have their separate dens?)

She nodded when the Alpha's spoke. She lifted her head and asked. "Where will the stranger stay? He can stay in my den for tonight, but what is to become of him after?"

"A sranger such as myself should not get to stay in the dwelling place if a Beta." Anubis said lifting his head some. "I can sleep outside if I must I do t want to be a bother."

"You should be asleep, and doing your best to recover. You will sleep in my den tonight because I do not want you near my packmates." She pulled her lips back in a snarl. "And you should not be attending this meeting. Go back to my den." She turned back to look at her Alpha.

Uru chuckled. "I'll talk to the stranger tomorrow, before i figure out what i'm going to choose. What's your name, guest?" she barked, before looking at the crowd of wolves. "Meeting ended. Go do your duties." she said, before looking at Venom. "Noal, escort Alpha Venom to his territory please." she said before walking to the stranger, flicking her tail to Althea to have her follow Uru.
