Sunclan - Ratfang - open

He was still at his nest sleeping. He didn't sleep much at night so he was tired, thought the noises and all, maked the sleeping almost impossible. Yawning the skinny brown tom stood up and padded out of the Warriors den. Glancing around he walked to the fresh kill pile, but didn't care to eat anything just yet.

Stormclan - Thunderblossom - open

She sat at the Warriors den entrance and fluffed her long fur, licking her paws and washing her face. She was hungry, but knowed that she did need to hunt first, before eating any.

Stormclan - Greendawn - open

She was out of hunting. Wandering around the forest, she was already catched a two mices, but really wanted catch bird or something difficult like a squirrel. Thought she wasen't yet seen any squirrels and the birds was hidding at the trees.

(Rowanwing, SunClan)

He was seated near the entrance, his paws neatly tucked beneath his tail. He lifted his head when Ratfang exited the Warriors den. "Good morning, Ratfang. Up for a patrol?" He asked the warrior.

(Thistle, Abandoned Dairy Farm)

Thistle rose from his seat, leaving paw-prints in the snow as he stood. He glanced around the farm, wearily taking in the dreary sight just as he did every day before. The barn, which had been dutifully well-kept so many moons ago, was beginning to lose it's once bright coat of red paint. The surrounding fences that used to be a pristine white, evenly placed and up-right were covered in mud and bent at odd angles due to the efforts of the hoof-beasts' goal to escape. The beautiful flowers that once bloomed in the garden beside the two-leg den, previously reaching for the sky, had collapsed and lost their petals.

All of this was a depressingly normal sight for Thistle now.

Stormstar-camp-Stormstar walked slowly towards the fresh kill pile holding a vole in his tough jaws. He looked down his nose spotting Thunderblossom and dipped his head in greeting before setting his vole down onto the pile.

Featheredtail-Dairyfarm- Whew that was close. She dipped her head taking in all the depressing view that lay before her eyes. She melted into the gray world imagining what the barn looked like all bright and cherry, how fat and lively the cows would be, and how all the grass would be-growing around for fox lengths and more.

Thistle could feel someone watching him as he hopped off the worn porch of the house and made his way to the barn. He nudged the rolling door open slightly, then pushed it closed again. Turning to his right revealed a wooden ladder leading up to the attic of the barn. Thistle climbed the ladder, stopping in the shadows of the rafters where he could just barely get a look out the glass window above the barn door without being seen. He could see anything -anyone- if it was on the farm grounds.

Featheredtail sighed snagging a mouse that was chewing on thin dry pieces of grass. "Ast! That is for the beasts. Mangy piece of prey." the mouse dangled half-dead in her claws. Sh e shook it with a look of triumph.

From his position, Thistle could see just who was on the grounds of his home. Another cat had made their way onto the farm. He watched them capture a mouse and eat it.

He might have cared back when the two-legs were around, defended his territory, but he didn't now. In fact, he needed all the help he could get with all the mice and rats showing up around the farm. Without the two-legs that the vermin feared so much, the pests had taken over the place. Back then, there were only so many mice in the barn that Thistle needed to catch in order to feed himself, but now they were everywhere. He'd rarely had to worry about mice in the two-leg den when said beings had inhabited it, as the little things had been much too afraid to approach, but now he had to do more than just one round of the house a day to keep it vermin-free. He couldn't keep up with the multiplying pests, he'd end up getting sick if he did.

Featheredtail-Dairyfarm- She licked her lips and as a prickly sensation went up her spine. She was being watched. She tensed her sky blue eyes darting. She didn't know where they were, but she suspected it was the fancy mop err tom. She looked down at the remains of the mouse, and her stomach lurched. Spitting she toppled of the fence her stomach feeling like it was being torn to shreds by angry claws. The stench of the bad mouse reached her nose and she realized it was poisoned. Hacking she shook the cold snow seemed inviting almost. She whimpered weakly and ducked under the fence attempting to get back to camp. Her legs shook and white spots danced in her vision as the world went black. (she passed out :3 I like drama it makes things exciting :3)

(Thistle, Abandoned Dairy Farm)

Thistle abruptly stood from his seat, watching the unfamiliar cat fall from their perch on one of the last erect fence posts. He had no doubt that they'd gotten their paws on one of the poisoned rats out on the edge of the bovine pasture.

He jumped down from the rafters, landing on a small patch of hay left over from the two-legs' last food gathering. He shoved the barn door open and raced over the snow-laden pasture. His fears were confirmed when he saw the carcass laying on the ground in front of the fence. He could easily pick up the scent of the pesticides the rat had ingested.

He quickly found the cat, a she-cat going by her sweet scent, and dragged her back into the pasture as gently as he could. Leaving her outside the fence would only invite the coyotes to come take a bite out of her. He didn't want to leave her alone, but he needed something to make her vomit up the poisoned rat she ate. He needed to grab some Yarrow and Snake Root from his meager stock under the porch.

He streaked towards the den's porch with his goal in mind. He quickly crawled between the wooden steps, and eyed through his small collection before grabbing what was needed. Placing the medicine in a large leaf to carry it, he picked up the bundle and bounded back to the downed she-cat.

He carefully poured the Yarrow into her mouth, then bit off a chunk of snow from a clean pile at the base of a post to drip it into her mouth to make sure it went down.

Sure enough, not even a minute later the she-cat rolled off her back and up-chucked.
