"But what is it? Why is it spikey?" SHe looked down at the green.

"That's grass. A plant. It grows that way because it helps it live," he replied, plucking a strand and holding it out for her.

She glared at it. "Why cant I make it cry?" She asked after a minute.

"Well, plants aren't like animals. They don't have the same emotions we do. They can feel pain and try and avoid it, but they can't be sad or happy," he replies, "Like us in a way."

Whatever-You-Want scowled. "I dont like plants. Hope there isnt any more of them. Where are we going anyway?"

"There's a forest a little ways in that direction. Has several hundred species of plants." He started off through the field towards a small blur of trees.

"Wait, there's more than one?!" Whatever-You-Want shouted as she sped after Loki.

"Yes, thousands of different plants. There is even more than one type of grass." He stopped by a small dandelion. "Here," he murmured, holding it up between two claws. "Blow."

Whatever-You-Want looked about to faint. She fell slowly to the ground, landing with a soft thump. Suddenly emotions flooded Loki, leaving him scared, jokey, bored, angry and happy, all at once. Then it stoped, hitting him like a hammer of calm. He looked up to see Whatever-You-Want staring at him, the dandilion clock blown. "That's what it feels like to be me." She said simply.

(she can make people halucinate -thats what that was)

Loki blinked a few times, looking at the dandelion stem, then at her. "Okay. That happened." He shook his head to clear it, his mask shifting slightly out of place. "Once we're under some kind of cover I'll take a look at you. I may be able to create some kind of suppressant to keep those emotions a little more under control."
