When a male vulnyx came out of no where, I jump in shock. A stroke of pain came to my leg, but it was less painful this time. I look at the vulnyx and say to him, "Um, hi. I'm Spring. Are you good friends with Alli?"

Alli looks over and see's a zolnixi in her plane, she peeks in and asks with her fur slightly bristled "Who are you?"

"Wow... I really have been gone a long time," Zac shakes his head and smiles. "Do you really not remeber me Ali? Your mother and I were good friends." He smiles and turns to the quivering Luffox and Aurleon, "now who might you be?"

(Sorry I've been gone so long! :o I got sick and any light made my head throb >.< Anyway, I'm glad I didn't miss to much! :3)

Magic looked over to the Zolnixi, and in his usual calm but strong voice, he said, "My name is Magic. I recently met these two, and have already been through enough to call them friends." While waiting for anything to happen, he thought about Ali's summary of the Sylesti gang, 'take you in if you can be like them? 'Like them', I suppose, would mean cruel and heartless with a lust for violence. It saddens me to think how many would be 'like them'. I, however, will not. I will take it upon myself to help those who need it. Yes, that's what I'll do, be a mentor to other abandoned Sylesties.' With this thought, he smiled a very slight smile.

When I heard Magic call Alli and I friends, I put a smile on my face. I'm glad that I was able to make some good friends when I needed one he most. I look over to the green vulnyx. 'Mother?' I thought, 'What is that vulnyx talking about?' I built up some courage to finally ask the vulnyx, "So, wait, I'm confuse. What's a mother?"

Arrow couldn't sit still anymore, the sun was going down and the bus hadn't came yet, it was never this late! His paws were cold from the wet ground, maybe when his kids get home they'll give him a nice warm bath, he thought hopefully. Slowly, he padded over to his doghouse and lied down. His family never went on vacation without out him, why would they now? Arrow guessed Mom and Dad drove the kids to school, didn't they?

A few days later...

Nobody had come home yet, had they forgotten where they lived, Arrow wondered. That's when the van drove in. Arrow padded up hopefully, staring at the van, did his family finally come home? It came to an abrupt stop and all the doors opened at once. 4 kids poured out of the van, screaming and pushing each other. Two adult humans got out of the van and gazed at the house. "It could use some work," announced one then took a look around the yard and spotted Arrow. The human shouted at Arrow, no one had done that before, he was scared of these humans. What had they done with his family? Arrow shot out of there like an arrow, yes I just did that.

Arrow's paws were sore from walking on hard pavement since he had reached the city. His family had driven through here with him before. Arrow stopped dead in his tracks when her heard talking behind a dumpster.

Alli was about to happily welcome Zac when Spring said that rang through Alli's, 'what's a mother' Alli looked at her and was sad to think a child not knowing a parent (not offending to those who might not know their parents, NO OFFENSE). Alli hopped down and her jaw opened but there where no words. she slowly paced around and spoke "a mother is someone who has given life to you, someone who cares and loves you with their heart. they raise you and then the child has their own, then theirs and it continues" Alli was about to shed a tear then something colorful caught her eye. it was wrapped like what the humans call 'newspaper' and Alli pulled it out. she unfolded it and saw it was a poster saying 'Sylesti's With Talent. can your Sylesti win?' the poster read, (YES, Alli can read). she showed it to her friends and said "check this out"
