"Calm down Bell." He spoke in a soothing voice, putting his hands in front of him. Flinching she said "How c-can you talk to me? Your human!" Cringing he shifted and said "Bell it just me, Quest!" Taking a step forward. Redrawing from him she shook her head "No, your not Quest your- your a freak!" Turning tail running she shouted "I never want anything to do with you again!" Shocked Scourge stood there frozen. His bottom lip trembling he slowly dragged his paws over to his den. Walking in he noticed the feeling in his large burrow suddenly felt lifeless, empty, cold. Tears welling up he sat facing the back wall, thinking what happened, flipping it over and over in his mind.

(Want Kitty to come over and help him? So he trusts her a bit more?)

"I... I have to go do something..." Zear said before she approached Quest's burrow. "I know you probably don't want me here, and just tell me to leave if you want, but you can talk to me. I heard what Bell said, and I just want you to know there's people here who know how you feel. We all know what it feels like." Zear said in a sincerely concerned tone.

Rich went a bit closer so he could hear, but he didn't want to intrude, so he just stared at the sky.

(XD! Is she in her animal form?)

His ear twitching at her voice, he rested his forehead on the wall and sighed "You can stay." He mutter which sounded more like a whisper. Tears fulling to the brim of his eyes he sniffed and one tear slipped pats running down his face. Sliding to the floor he continued to cry. Softly sobbing Scourge, still kept his guard up, but know his feelings locked away from any one. Flattening his ears he started to cry louder.

(Yeah, I forgot to add that. Whoops)

"Hey.. I just remembered something that Vyp told me. It's actually a bit similar to this situation." Zear paused trying to remember every detail "he was um... 9 I think. And his best friend at the time saw his ears for the first time. She screamed and started throwing things at him and calling him the worst names a nine year old could think of. It happened again when he was eleven, but with a different person. And one more time last year. After that, he swore he would never become good friends with a human unless he knows they'll accept him. Does it help at all? Knowing that there's others who have been where you are?" Zear told the story in a soft voice, hoping she could get him to talk to her. To show any emotion so that she could know if she was saying the right thing.

Growling he snapped "But am NOT FISH EARS!" His claws digging in the earth, his tail lashing while he was baring his teeth in a fierce growl. Looking out of the corner of his eye, seeing Kitty getting up to leave. "WAIT!" Kitty looked back at him "Please- please don't leave me here." He whisper looking at her, his paw on her wing. Feeling vulnerable he felt his eye watering. His voice trembling he said "P-please.".

Paint yawned and woke up, she was in a fox den, running from her clan. She felt like the other females were chasing her. Downing down stream, she took short breaks to eat and drink.

"I won't leave. Not until you want me to" she said with a soft smile. Zear sat back down facing Quest. "If it's okay, I'd like to know what you think of humans?"

Nodding Scourge asked "Why do you want to know?".

"Well, I don't have a reason. Other than being curious. You know what they say, cats are curious by nature. I don't really see humans any differently than sylestis. There's actually a lot of sylestis in the forest that view me as a freak of nature, and I assume humans would too." Zear tried to explain as short as possible, with keeping enough detail.

"No kidding." He mutter remembering what Bell said to him. "I hate humans. Their pests running the earth to ground." He spoke monotone. He was completely devoid of emotions at the moment. Staring at the wall he though hard about this feeling inside him.

"I can understand that... I thought I would like the city. But then the smell hit me. And the air was thick and heavy and hard to breathe in. And everything felt fake... Thinking about it now, it kind of scared me. And there's not many places left that humans don't change." Zear was unsure if her feelings, and by the end of her words she sounded a bit disappointed. "But as long of there are some places, hope isn't lost! And sometimes cities become abandoned and nature takes over again! At least, that's what Vyp tells me."
