"what!" i yell looking to the puffadore yet yelling to Flame.


i look at the dog called Dark. i pounce at him, bitting him.


"help!" i try to shake the puffadore off.

"It's hard to suddenly lose someone, it's difficult to grasp the concept of someone being here one day and gone forever the next,"I sighed just thinking of my sister and her quirky ways. " I never thought she'd be gone, I bet you never thought that either with your sister." I thought of my last moment with my sister. " sometimes I think this isn't real, that I'll wake up and she'll call me dumb mutt like always and I could put it behind me.....do you ever have, or had that feeling? The feeling of emptiness?" I asked Starfall as I turned to look at her as my ears drooped down.

Flow and Ace ran over at Flame's rather loud bark. Flow stopped next to her sister who was frozen in shock. Ace, however, kept running and finally got to Dark the smaller animal was harder for Ace to get off of Dark then Flame was. It took a few tries but he finally got a grip on the bad dog and Ace flung him away for Dark and pined him down. "Flow come check on Dark while I keep this bozo pined." Flow ran over to get ready to check on Dark.

Starfall tried to remember, "No actually I haven't." She decides to explain. "I was there when my sister died and she told me to never think of her and think like that. Instead she insisted that I act like I'm going to see her tomorrow and that I have to live till then so I can see her." Starfall chuckled a little. "And something she always told me was that as soon as tomorrow gets here it's today and with that logic tomorrow never comes." She smiled as she remembered her stubborn older sister. A small tear of joy rolled down her face. "Don't get me wrong, I really do miss her, I think she'd be proud of how far I've gotten." She sighed and rolled her shoulders, "It's my turn isn't it? Well, hum..... Okay, I don't mind all these scars, I actually think they're really cool."

"hey i am not a bozo!" i weasel out of his grip. " i am a puffadore!" i jump on his back bitting him.


"what is that thing!" i yell. what ever it was it was fast and slippery. i watch as it runs around Ace bitting him on the legs, back and neck. it was as if he was a large weasel. i watch and can't help but laugh


i stop. "are you laughing at me!?" i run toward the dog. i jump grabing his ear.


i try to shake it off but it is held fast.

The answer surprised me, I just couldn't think of doing that. " maybe it's too soon for me to think that way....because I want her here...." I realized I got off track and told Starfall another tidbit. " oh yeah I i joined a pack once then kinda quit it" I shrugged it off like no big deal. "They actually recruited me a few days after the saw me fight, and I joined for the benefits "

"Don't forget you made me do this!" Ace ran up to Dark and once again grabbed the small animal but this time he threw it on the ground and sat on it. "Now Flow check on Dark.... No, I'll be fine." He added as Flow started towards him instead of Dark. Flow went back over to Dark and took a look at him she didn't see anything wrong right away but then noticed some fresh blood from where Flame bit him. "He's okay, but his other wound has been re-opened a little, Nothing to bad." Flame was getting all jumpy about everything she still couldn't believe what had happened. Flow went over to Ace looking him over as best she could without him being able to move. "You got a lot of really little bites, they'll be fine in a couple of days." She turned over to Dark a little angry, "Why didn't you help him?"

Starfall was curious. "A pack, huh?" She decide to tell him her next thing. "I don't eat any meat if I don't have to." She flattened her ears embarrassed "That one was pretty lame. Ummm, I act like my older sister sometimes. I mean like if I knew how'd she react to something I would react the same way."

"did you see how fast he is?!" i pant.


"let me at hi, let me at him!" i wiggle. this dog was big, but i almost manage to get free. my soft fur is covered in grass.

Flow was getting irritated again at Dark's remark "Yes I did see how fast it was but that's no excuse! You didn't even move to try and help him, you just stood there and laughed." The small puffadore squirmed and said something, the already angry Flow turned on him "Now you just shut your trap! You better not forget you attacked Dark then Ace. Well will ask question and you will answer. What in the world possessed you to attack a someone who wasn't provoking you?!" She said yelling Flame know what would happen if the smaller animal didn't do what Flow asked, and it wasn't good.

Dark: i am hurt by this. i could always leave them right then and there.


"he is the one that hit me first! i was just minding myself when he came along and hit me!" i wiggle more.

Flame saw a look on Dark's face that looked familiar... He had the same look at the junk yard before running off. She went up to him and whispered, hoping it would keep him from running off again. "She didn't mean it. She just gets angry at one guy and yells at everyone for no reason, just wait she'll yell at Ace next." Flame heard what the little beast said and was starting to get angry, too. "What do you mean 'he hit you first'?! I was standing there for a few minutes." Flow took over from her, "And who are you!?" Ace felt a little sorry for the little guy. He turned and told him "You'd best do as they say. I'm not sure how much more patience they have." Flow turned on Ace "You stay out of this!" Flame took two seconds off from glaring at the little puffadore to give Dark a 'I told you so' look.
