Ravenfur pounced on him like he expected aiming for his chest, but then again Jayhawk was expecting it, which led to her missing her target and swiping at the inside of his shoulder instead.

He swiped at her with all four of his large paws, his long, hooked claws flashing. The ones on his right foresaw connected, producing four long, painfull scratches down Ravenfur's chest, though they were shallow.

Ravenfur snarled in pain as she jumped off him, eyes narrowed at him as she stayed a few tail lengths away, to avoid getting caught by his jagged nails again. Her teeth still bared in anger as she growled at him.

Ravenfur stared him down, back arching as she swiped at him again claws outstretched catching his cheek slightly on the left side. As she snarled at him 'Pray to Starclan that he just leaves... I am not equipped to deal with these things by myself' She thought to herself, growling in unease, she had put herself in this situation.

Ravenfur let out a screech of pain backing away as she growled, not backing down but she soon could not see through her left eye from the warm liquid pooling down from her ear. "You mouse brained idiot!" She yowled angerly as she closed her eye to focus the right one. She launched at him this time ramming into his chest, biting down on a spot she had access to, partially missing due to being lopsided vision from only seeing out one eye.

He batted her aside, claws gouging deep track across the left side of her face, just behind her eye.

She let out a pained screech jumping back and crouching again, ear pinned back as her right eye stared at him, as she huffed in pain. The sound of her blood rushing filled her ears as she stared Jayhawk down eye burning in anger.
"You're playing defense" Was all she said eye narrowed in pain.

(I don't want to kill Ravenfur outright...)
Jayhawk hissed, then lunged, hitting Ravenfur with both paws outstretched, tackling her and pinning her. He pressed a claw to her chest and purred, "I was just enjoying the fight."
Then he bit the ear he had ripped with his claws and began pulling.
