"I don't understand," Bradyn said, shaking his head. "Do all elves live for...such a long time? What makes elder wood so special?"

Artemis sighs and says, "No elves do not live for this long. Once they are tired spiritual they fade and go to sleep and wait. I am an exception because I don't know why I can't fade. Elder wood as magical property's that even I don't know since elder wood is older then me."

"That's a strange way of dying," Bradyn commented. "So if elves don't usually live as long as you have, but you're not immortal, then..." He shook his head as if trying to clear it. "Makes no sense," he muttered.

Artemis hums and says, "True but I've grown use to being the oldest of the elves"

He pursed his lips, skeptical. "Yeah, I can tell. Aaaanyways, where's the food?" He asked, quickly changing the subject before Artemis could reply.

Artemis chuckles and says, "It's rabbit stew,"

"My name's Bradyn, by the way. Now that we're just...hanging around."

Artemis nods his head and says, "Nice to meet you Bradyn,"

He falls silent and nods in return. He begins to think about his mother, again.

Artemis went into the kitchen to check the stew. He grabbed a bowl and wooden ladle. He started to put the stew in the wooden bowl.
