I got up, feeling tired. I looked up at the place that we'd all call home for the next year. It was an old style building, the smell of must reaching my nose, even from a distance.
The two annoying girls had finally met, less exciting then I had anticipated.
Can I hang with you guys? I cant stand to be with my idiotic brother.
I look over and see Hikari. Another in the group couldn't hurt, and this guy did stop the fiery red head earlier.
"As long as you aren't a pain the ass." I say, dragging my feet towards the building.

I look over at Vin as we both get up.
"Damn, we have to live in a boomer house for twelve months. Please tell me they have good food." I say, my stomach talking for me.
"It seems Ed Sheeran lookalike and Sassy pants have met..."

"Rabid? You seem to have determined a lot from just that boat ride. I won't argue, though. She seems to have a problem with me for no real reason at all."

He shrug, glancing toward the red haired girl with a cold expression. "It's not just the boat ride that make me say that... Let just say she almost got a taste of the nearest airport seat on our first encounter."

Not realy having a choice in the matter, he followed along as everyone were leaving the boat. Along the way, they did pick up someone new, now he would start refering to them as four eyes, at least in his mind, but again, he too had to wear glasses so he'll skip that nickname.

He realy didnt saw why not, the guy seemed to be slightly more stable then him so it was probably a good addition to the group. Come to think of it, it started to look a bit like a gang, sort of... "Yea, sure, i dont see why that could be an issue right now."

Now the place was, should he realy use the word interesting ? As mutch as it usualy is normaly used to describe odd choices, this was, yea no, this was underwhelming, boring to look at, but in an odd, creepy kind of way ? He coudnt describe it, it felt like finding the husk of a spider while cleaning the sealing fan of an abandoned mall.

"Damn, we have to live in a boomer house for twelve months. Please tell me they have good food."

He shuckled at the last part before saying joakingly. "Well, worst case senario, we'll just have to hunt the locals for supplies..."

Welp, never mind, the metaphorical spider was still very much alive ! Honestly, a good part of him wanted to leave and try his luck swimming back from where they came from, but he wasnt about to look like a coward in front of everyone. The lady herself was, fairly creepy, not adding anything positive to the whole experience. While he remained silent, he felt more on eadge the longer the woman talked, he was more then happy when she finaly shut up.

I retreated back to Kai and Vin, creeped out by the woman.
"Ok this place is weird." I whisper, looking back at the odd woman, who was leading the group to the mansion, holding a candle as light.

I agreed with Norah, this couldn't be good, also considering all the dark reports this place had. We were now going through the doorway of the building.
The entrance room, while being old, was a sight to see. Two massive candle chandlers, stained glass skylights, showing the glittery stars, and a grand wooden stairway.

He nodded in agreement at Norah's statement, mumbling back. "I saw abandoned buildings with less warning signs... and some were in fire." He realy didnt liked any of it, but at least there was plenty of candles and others things to burn if neaded. Now Vin woudnt considerate himself as a pyromaniac but again, fire was the first human invention for a raison, it was a door toward making others things and he woudnt let years of advenced science classes go to waste. Well, unless it out him as a nerd that is, he would rather not lose his credibility with his new gang just because he started sounding like a teacher's pet again.

The Matron had walked to the top of the stairs and began making another announcement.

I look over at Vin and Kai, even more confused. I walk to the other room and got my clothing package. It was full of old fashion outfits.
