Ariel scampers closer, keeping his notebook close to his chest. He slows when he gets closer, not sure how close he should get. So he walks up right in front of them and looks up at them expectantly.

Out of their shadows pops a cat. The moving shadow looks a lot like a black cat, even down to the eyes- the only difference is its eyes are grey. It's very small. A kitten, probably.
