Despite what some may belive Davon's sense of smell was highly developed, allowing him to detect the presence of Adlin as she first set foot in his territory. He didnt bothered looking for her however, chosing to remain summerged in the water until the tiger came into his vew. Even then, he was tempted to just dive down into the murky dept of his forest and let the feline to it's own device but figured that he could at least hear her out this time. His large form slowly emerged from where he had been hiden previously as a territorial growl erupted from deep within his throat. " Why are you here Adlin ?" His voice was devoid of any emotions as his reptilian eyes stared down the other guardian.

She tried to speak at first but couldn't almost as if she was afraid of him, and she was, knowing her disadvantages against him and the strength he had compared to hers he was the only gaurdian she didn't really dare get feisty with, her eyes glued to the ground she spoke "News came to me that the humans have created these half breeds, well they go by newborns" she stated peering at him a little as she backed away from the water, she could feel herself walk from moss before stepping in a batch of fresh mud but she didn't care, her fear was to burned into her for her to really care about anything. The others glared at her with suprised looks, they never really seen her act this way but they had backed down to not really ready to catch her Rath if questioned about this "and they where created to kill us and claim the forest" I only came to tell you" she lowered her voice almost a small wimper

When nobody answered her calls Aspen decided she needed to prove herself. But she was faced with a problem "how can I prove myself when there's nobody to show or see me do it" She decided that she would prove herself by collecting and helping all the other gaurdians by herself. So she left her gaurds to fight and started walking towards Chace's forest surely she could convince zir to trust her.

With a slight sigh Davon closed his eyes for a moment. "Ah, i see, so this was the cause of the omen." He woudnt have risqued it with someone else but knowing that Adlin was scared of him did allow the cold blooded guardian to forgo the nead of constant eye contact for short periods of time. " Very well, my clan is ready to protect our home, from then on anything that isnt seen as a friend will be killed on sight. Oh, and one more thing, i would watch my steps if i was you..." While he had remained as emotionless as possible during the whole exchange, he had noticed that the now bipedal feline had inched closer to quicksand in her attempt to back away from him. As mutch as he didnt enjoyed being near someone who was treating him like a monster he still cared enough to want her leaving his home in one piece.

Her eyes perked up at him confused, she didn't really know what quicksand looked like since she wasn't really allowed in here when she was little and her home doesn't have quicksand just lingering "dont tell me there's another huge reptile around here" she said softly as she shifted ready to get out of there accidentally stepping in the Sand still looking at him "Well sorry for intruding, we should get going now" she insisted. It wasn't him she was truly scared of it was what he could turn into, her and reptile didn't really have much of a good past that she can recall anyways, her group took off out the woods to her order as she turned to leave trying to pull herself out the ap called mud "you have so much mud around here" she mumbled to herself changing back as she wrapped her fingers around her leg pulling at it not really caring if she got mud on her clothing

Aspen

After a long journey Aspen finally caught sight of the forest she was after... "finally im here now the hard part". As she approached the forest she admired it's beauty "oh god i've missed this place" Ever since Tara and the gaurdians seperating nobody's trust was the same. I could only hope that Chance would accept me. Until I noticed the half breeded humans "o-oh god I have to help"

" Water is animportant part of this forest, a little bit of mud never killed anyone but, this is not mud." Davon said flatly as he walked closer. "And this isnt the right way to escape quicksand neather." With his large paws and flat build he wasnt too woryed for his own safety. It was child's play for the inhabitants of Ophil forest to avoid the natural traps of the land but the downside was that he had to apoint guards to babysit those who came from elsewhere for this very raison. " Placing all your weight in one spot will make you sink faster, here grab onto my tail, i'll get you out this time."

"No I can do it myself " she huffed feeling weak relying on someone else. She grabbed onto a stem of a dead tree and pulled but didn't make a very far "I don't need your help I can very so get out of here" she felt embarrassed but she didn't show it instead she glared at him firmly even though she wasn't the biggest fan of his jaws being that close to her, she wasn't going to say anything about how cold he was, she was cold herself, especially to others. She didn't really understand what she did to him herself. As much as she knew she was trying to stay away from him as much as possible

Darius suddenly called a halt, knowing his troops had gone too far. He had no issue with the other guardians, so eliminating them was just orders. But the Hissing Forest Guardian? That was another story. She had taken his eye, so he was going to take her head. He turned his troops back, now moving through the forest spread wide.

Siela was slowly coming up behind Adlin and her people, unarmed but for a little pocket knife. She had left it in her pocket as she moved, not wanting to tbe threatening.

He rolled his eyes both at her pathetic attempt at preserving her pride and at her glare, from personal experience, nobody can look menacing while struggling in quicksand. " As you wish, let's hope that your missplaced honor will be enough to pull you out then."

From the corner of his eye, he saw somthing out of place in his domain. A patchwork of human and animal features walking slowly toward the two guardians. Immediately, the crocodile's jaws open exposing the rows of large teaths as a deep, ancien sounding growl vibrated through his whole body. It wasnt a threat, it was a promise, he would not hesitate one moment to clamp down his maw on her and drag the newborn to it's watery grave if they show any signs of agressivity.
