The elder one slowed and simply kept himself between Ash and the other, turning his head to gently take care of the smaller Rockmocker. He seemed higher of rank than them, but still more like a father than anything.

The older one bent his head, and gently used his tongue to put some sort of gray stuff on the exposed skin. It fluffed up, then hardened to seal it over.
The smaller one rubbed against the older one as a thank you.

Pam was still fighting, now having the other Rockmocker at the edge of the cliff.
The older one reached over to pick Ash up now.

The older one paused, blinking once. "Hord, needs food." He then tried to grab Ash again.
Pam threw his apponent off him, but both had scratchs and patches where either scales or rock was missing.

Pam clung to the others back, digging his teeth into the back of it's neck as his hind legs started ripping at its wings.
