Holt sat down beside her. Soon after, Sonic returned and handed her the leaves he'd mentioned. "Here. You might gag..."

Val took a deep breath and ate it, she grimaced, but she had tasted worse before, after she swallowed it she shuddered with disgust.

"Sorry," Sonic said. "I feel ya girl, but they work better then ibuprofen..."
Holt sighed in relief. "Thanks Sonic,"

Val looked at the gauze that she had held up to her ear, the gauze was soaked with her blood, there was barely a spot of white.

Sonic handed her another gauze. "Hold that and don't take it off. I'll tape it down for ya,"

Val nodded, she pressed the new gauze up to her ear, she winced at the pain, but it wasn't as painful as before.

Sonic, true to his word, wrapped a bandage aroung her ear, snug but not tight. "Okay, the guaz is gonna get soaked, but you need to leave it on until it clots, got it?"

Val nodded, she moved her ears around, it slightly hurt, but only a little.

"Not sure if the tear itself will fix, though...." Sonic said, flicking his own right ear. It was nicked.

Val sighed, "Well, if I have kids, at least I have some sort of story to tell." she said with a smile.
