"I think we probably should stay here," Ember said. She didn't think either of them would be of much use. They would probably just add to the confusion. 'Keep me updated please.' She sent back to A'ine.

"I don't know. But there was a boy with her who seemed to be able to touch her without getting burned," Kanin said calmly.

"Alderic! Did he say there was anything we could do?" Orion asked, sighing when the rabbit shook his head. Orion looked over at Liz. "See what I meant when I said I couldn't help her?" he said.

Saffy laughed. "Where are we going?" she yelled as she quickened her pace to keep up with Phinesa. Her footsteps didn't make any noise, since she had learned how to walk quietly in the forest.

Mitch nodded to Ember before looking over at the other girl. "Would you care to stay and join us. . .?" He asked hoping she'd fill in her name.

A'ine sent a quick okay to Ember before continuing to try and run through the woods. She grunted when she slipped scrapping her knee to the point her skit ripped. She groaned a little at herself before getting up and walking in sued of running. "A'ine, you should really get use to the whole legs thing. It'd help you a lot." She muttered to herself pushing a branch up out of her way before talking to herself again. "That's really good advice A'ine. I'll keep it in mind."

Liz sighed looking at Orion. "Look. I think you're just trying to hard. Sometimes leaving your friend that ran off alone really helps." She said looking down at the rabbit keeping her lips over her pointed teeth. A lot of everybody freaked out when they saw them. "Even if they run off to cry." She added tilting her head at the rabbit. "Can you please go into human form? I feel weird talking to a rabbit." She asked him knowing subconsciously that when she asked something the half Vamp in her made anyone want to do it. She hated it but it was part of the whole hunter part of it so she couldn't avoid it.

Alderic was relieved when his plan seemed to be working as Jora appeared to calm down a little holding out her hands. "What if I can't control it?" She asked him in a quiet voice. Alderic smiled reassuringly. "Have you ever played catch?" He asked her. She nodded in confusion as he helped her up and walked a few feet away. "Throw it at me and I'll send it back and you'll catch it." He said quietly.

Jora let out a shaky breath not liking the sound of the game. She looked at her hands carefully relaxing them as she closed her eyes before she could see the light through her eyelids. She felt better right away. She didn't feel sick anymore as she 'threw' it to Alderic who caught it with a smile. "See it's easy." He said to her throwing it back. Jora swallowed as she willed her hands to 'hold' the fire. She let out a relieved sigh destroying it. "Thank you." She said quietly looking at Alderic as the red haired boy smiled walking over and hugging her.

Phinesa chuckled a little smiling at her. "To go see if you're roommate's in your dorm." She said smiling as she pulled her towards the girls dorm again. She could actually be really quiet when she wanted to in the forest but not with her hard hooves on tile floor.

"Alice," Alice said. "And I suppose I'll stay," she said, remembering what her brother had said about being polite and making friends. She looked sideways at the two of them. "What are you two? You know, creature wise," she asked, tilting her head slightly, but remaining nonchalant.

Orion scrutinized Liz for a bit. "You're right. I was kind of an idiot, wasn't I?" he said, saying the last part more to himself. He wasn't the best when it came to social interaction. I suppose I'll learn from my mistakes, but still...I do kinda feel like an idiot.He turned his attention to the rabbit when it began to speak.

Kanin nodded. "It would be my pleasure," he said, transforming back to his human form. He straightened up, and turned to look at both Orion and Liz. "My name is Kanin. Of whom do I have the pleasure of meeting?" he asked.

Saffy grinned and followed at a faster pace. "I hope she is there!" she exclaimed.

Mitch smiled a little at Alice glad she seemed to be a little more relaxed around them. "Well, I'm an ice dragon." He said looking at Ember to see if she wanted to say or not before going over to were he had his guitar. "Do you like any kind of music?" He asked her wondering.

Liz smiled a little at Kanin when he transformed before looking back at Orion. "A nice idiot at least." She teased him lightly trying to act normally. "Name's Liz. Nice to meet you Kanin." She said looking over at the trees when she noticed a light through them before it vanished.

Alderic smiled letting go of her backing away. "I'm glad you're alright." He said looking back towards where the fire was. "You ready to talk to everyone else or do you just want to have a breather for a minute?" He asked her.

Jora smiled a little at him. "You can go back if you like I just want to walk for a bit and make sure I'm calm..." She said feeling better after the hug. "Are you sure I didn't hurt you?" She asked him quietly.

Alderic smirked back chuckling a little. "Yup. I'll see you in a few." He said walking through the trees where the rabbit had disappeared smiling at Orion. "She'll be back in a bit." He said looking over at Liz. "Who might you be?" He asked her. Liz sighed. "Just said I was Liz like half a second ago." She said a little irritated.

Phinesa smiled looking back at her. "Me too! She sounded like an interesting person from what I've heard." She said.

Alice couldn't tell whether Mitch was asking her or Ember, but she answered anyway. "I'm game for any sort of music, though I prefer fast-paced music. What 'bout you Ember?" she asked, making sure Ember had a say in it. Alice wasn't the best at picking up social cues, but she wanted to make sure she didn't sound to narcissistic.

Kanin turned to Alderic smiling."Hello!" he greeted. "I'm glad the girl is alright," he added. Kanin wondered if the boy recognized him as the rabbit from earlier. He did have the same color hair and eyes in his rabbit form. Plus his ears were still visible.

"Thank you Alderic," Orion said, with a barely audible sigh of relief. He smiled, hoping that Alderic was right.

Saffy grinned, and ran to catch up. "She definitely does! I hope she likes us!" she says.

Mitch nodded looking at Ember. "Have any songs in mind?" He asked her with a smile as he put the strap around his shoulder strumming to make sure it was still tuned. He wondered what Ember thought about Alice as he continued strumming random cords.

Alderic smiled at the guy with rabbit ears fairly certain he had been the talking animal from earlier. "Thanks for making sure we had a couple minutes." He said looking back at Orion. "Really wasn't any trouble. She's my friend too." He said smiling like an idiot at Liz. "Nice to meet you!" He said pushing his glasses back onto his nose.

Liz chuckled a little crossing her arms across her chest looking around at all the boys. Geezes am I the only girl?! She thought to herself as another girl crashed through the trees. She turned to see the girl on the ground.

A'ine glared at the ground, knowing everyone was there and had seen her clumsy self. "Everyone's alright Ember... Jora's taking a little alone time walk." She sent to her friend as she heard her red-headed friend yell. "A'ine! Are you okay?!" Alderic yelled moving to grabbed her arm and pull her up. A'ine smiled a little. "Yeah... Legs are still a little new to me... And I haven't had to try and walk through a forest yet." She said smiling a little trying to keep them from noticing how beat up she looked from falling a lot, by sending them different visuals of her.

Phinesa laughed happily skipping. "Course she will! We are the coolest girls she could know!" She yelled happily entering the girls' dorm building.

Ember shifted from one foot to the other. "Ummm, I don't know..." she said, trying to think of a song that Mitch could play on the guitar. "You choose," she finally said to Mitch. 'Good. Are you guys coming back soon? she sent.

Kanin smiled back at Alderic before he turned to look at the new girl. "Please excuse me, but when you say legs are new to you, do you mean you lived underwater?" he asked, curious. The ocean was a foreign place to him, and he had always been fascinated by the folklore about the ocean. He hoped Alice was making friends. Kanin knew Alice liked company more than she let on.

"Are you sure you'll alright?" Orion asked A'ine. She looked fine to him, but he wanted to make sure.

Saffy grinned and joined Phinesa in her skipping. "We are awesome people!" she yelled, throwing the door open with more force than necessary.

Mitch nodded a bit thinking. He looked over at Alice and Ember wondering what to play. He started strumming different cords a little quietly before speeding up a little. He wasn't sure how he should act around Alice. She seemed a little bit disinterested with people.

A'ine held her breath as she tried to focus enough to talk to Ember and keep up that she wasn't all dirty. 'We should be sometime soon I think.' She sent to her friend smiling at Alderic thankfully before looking back at the new boy. "Yes, until a couple weeks ago." She said with a smile before turning to look at Orion. "Yeah, I'm fine. I just have a slight dislike for plants now." She joked glancing at Alderic when his hands were still around her arm.

Alderic let go backing up rubbing his neck a little. He laughed a little at her joke. "We should get back. Mitch probably ate all the s'more stuff without us." He joked glancing the way Jora had gone hoping she'd come back soon.

Liz smiled a little at A'ine and Alderic. "I'm Liz by the way." She told the white haired girl glancing at Alderic wondering if by 'we' he had included her. She did just kind of crashed the whole little chase Jora thing.

Phinesa grinned back laughing when she opened the door. "We should probably be quiet. Some people might be sleeping now." She joked happily.

Ember wandered away from the fire to look for more logs. She wanted a bit of time alone. She wasn't used to being around so many people for so long. Not that she didn't like her new friends. She looked back towards the fire and caught Alice's eyes. Alice gave her a quick thumbs up, and a questioning look, surprising Ember. She hadn't expected Alice to worry about her. She managed to return the thumbs up, receiving a nod in return. Ember turned back to look for firewood.

Alice smoothed her dress and sat down, before standing back up and doing a weird bouncy pace. She saw Ember leave the fire. Wondering what was up, she glanced at Mitch, making sure he wasn't looking at her before she raised her eyebrows and flashed a questioning thumbs up at Ember. Once she got the answer, she nodded, and then looked back at Mitch, making sure he hadn't seen anything. She went back to flouncing around the fire.

Kanin nodded. He wanted to get back to Alice. "Do you mind if I join you?" he asked, wondering if they would welcome his sister and him.

"I hope Mitch saved us some for his sake," Orion says, laughing as he looked around at all the people that would go smore-less if Mitch was greedy like that.

"Right..." Saffy said, changing her voice into a whisper. "Let's go!" she whisper-yelled and crept along.

Mitch looked up seeing that Ember was going somewhere. He was a little worried about it glancing at Alice slightly. "Is Ember okay?" He asked her thinking she'd know because he hadn't watched Ember leave.

A'ine smiled slightly at Kanin. "Of course you can join us!" She said smiling before glancing at Liz who was giving her an odd look.

Alderic laughed at what Orion said. "Yeah. Especially since there mine!" He said starting to move towards the fire again.

Liz look away from A'ine something was off about this girl but she didn't know what it was. "Well, I'm gonna go back to doing my... thing." She said smiling ever so slightly to keep her pointed teeth from showing.

Phinesa smiled giggling a little. "Which way? You dorm or mine?" She asked.
