"Well...he's definitely powerful enough."

Pam nodded. "But how?" He said, rested his head on a talon. "No dragon'sposed to have that much raw power in 'im self."

"Raw?" Snowball asked, tilting her head.

Pam sighed. "Magic' is something no one'sposed to get mixed up in. Too much can drive someone mad, and if it's raw ..." he shook his head, his frills turning dark blue and a bit of red. "It can lead ta' so many thangs. Most common is insanity an' death. But... it's rare, it is possable for one to become split. That of himself, and den that of himself that comforms to his magic and power."

"Or hers." Snowball put in.

Pam chuckled, but it wasn't full light hearted. "Sure, and hers."

"Well...I don't think Jason's gone insane yet, and he's not dead, so..."

"That doesn't mean anything, he could have little time or much. If he's lived this long enough to now, then that's weird. Usually very young adolesences are supposed to be drained of their magic, and he would've died on his own with it by now it that was how it would work for him." Pam said, becoming quite serious. "Ash, has Jason spoken of anything like another self? Have there been times where he's not... seemed the same?"

Snowball became a bit tense, knowing Jason had two names. But she didn't see it like anything that serious.

He nodded. "Yes."

"Exactly how?"

"His name is Shadow. His soul is split, although I'm not exactly sure if that has much to do with it."

"..." Pam tapped his claws together, clearly thinking and thinking hard. He seemed completely serious, so unlike himself. "Just a name? The soul may not have anything to do with this. But if .... no."

"No, not just a name. A whole different personality."

"Does he just personally change or ... does it come with a whole new look? To the brothers that ruled with their power, there where sisters. They wheren't known to have magic, but there was the youngest that fled from the land. No one knows exactly what happened to her, or why she fled. But if that type of raw power came through a line of dragons known to have magic, then ... somehow the sister may have something to do with it. Dead or not."
