He nodded. "It really is."

Ian chuckled. "Fine." He did a very good job just for her.

"I don't know what I'd do without you. I know I'd probably be dead. Either at the hands of other guards or by bleeding out. None sound good me." Ray shudders.

Kiara decides to give him a hug to thank him for his doing a good job.

"I'm glad I was here, then. It worked out for both of us, you're still alive and and I have a treasure now."

Ian smirked and hugged her tight.

"Didn't we return all the treasure?" Ray asks Jack, tapping and snapping their fingers softly to some beat. They weren't impatient, it's just something they did mostly without meaning to. It was a trait many people in their family didn't appreciate.

Just for the fun of it, Parker was trying to figure out what Ray had done to get guards angry at them.

Kiara had only meant for it to be a short hug and Ian's tight hug back startled her. "I thought a hug would be better than just letting you live...?"

"Yeah, but there was one that didn't need to be returned." He said, picking them up and snuggling them close.

Ian chuckled in his cocky manner, letting her go now. "Sure, I guess."

"Oh... What treasure is it? Your sword?" Ray asks, hugging Jack. Their fingers gently drummed on his back.

Kiara tried to figure out what Ian wanted since 'I guess' and 'sure' wasn't exactly straight forward and suggested that he wasn't satisfied with what he got. "Do you really want a kiss?"

"Nah, you."

"You know what I want, I wanna take you on a date. Thenn maybe a kiss."

"Oh!" Ray squeaks and giggles happily, blushing. Yeah, they should have taken context clues earlier and figured it out sooner.

Kiara hums in thought, wondering if she really wanted to go on a date with Ian. She had been pushing guys away for quite a while. "Eh, sure, why not. What time and where?"

Jack kisses them along their cheeks over and over, then pinned them to the wall and held them off the ground as he showered them with love.

Ian looked surprised that she'd said sure, but he had already a place in thought. "Apple orchard, sun down. I'll have it set up tomorrow sun set if that's a good time for you."

Ray laughs breathlessly as Jack kissed them, feeling positively elated. When their laughter dies down, they hum happily.

"It's a date." Kiara nods with a small smile. She shoots him a double thumbs up and then heads to put the towel away. After dinner, a card or board game was usually played.
Jacob and Parker already had a game set up on the kitchen table so Kiara sat down and joined them in playing it.
