Personality: She is a very Airy and Strange girl, she is insightful and naive, as well as rather paranoid. She is very friendly and genuine, though people often find her rather off-putting due to her strangeness.
Backstory: She was raised by her single mother as long as she can remember, but her mother was always on the run from a group of people she only ever called "The Wolves". They lived in lots of places over the years, and they got most of what they needed by stealing small things and pawning them, but Auri was always happy because she was always loved. Her mother used to sing to her all the time and her voice it what Auri remembers the best. One day Auri's Mother said that the Wolves were close, and that Auri should hide while mommy takes care of it. Auri heard a scuffle, but she didn't come out until everything was quiet, and she never saw her mother again. She was 10 when this happened. Since then she has been surviveing on her own.

She is in the front talking to Tess

You give a yawn, stretching as you sit in the park bench. Around you people bustle, hurrying to and fro as they head to work. A few blocks away you can hear peddlers calling from the Market Stalls and the smell of food drifts through the air, reminding you of how hungry you are. Since you got laid off as the Paper Deliverer yesterday and only have five shillings left and you knew that wouldn't go far. You would have to figure out getting money and food, preferably soon. You have to try your best to survive as Winter is drawing near and that could be the killer to homeless orphans like you.


Auri hops up and skips around looking for some water nearby, a place to wash herself off a bit, and possibly a tin can or hat or some sort of container, also a box or ledge she can stand on, She's lost jobs before and though singing for tips isn't the best way to get money, because there is no guaranteed money, it's less risky than picking pockets without a distraction to help her. She doesn't let it get her down though, she's always been fine before!

Lacking any better options Auri heads to the Thames and washes her face, her arms and her legs with a damp piece of cloth, and combs her hair as well as possible with her fingers, She then heads out to find, a good crowded place where people with money might be, but not too wealthy or they might throw her out as soon as look at her, even though she has cleaned up. She also looks for something she can use to hold tips along the way.
