Betta fish mixed with koi. Highly versatile (different fish patterns and types), we only have two aquatic species and I even have design concept and mutation concept art (no genes, it's kinda hard and boring to do that on paper) drawn out already. Essentially, betta fins with koi body and a mixture of koi and betta tail (i.e. a tail that is still "fluffy-looking" but keeps its shape better.) They also have a webbed crest similar to that of vorpas (might not be a good idea) which is flared to scare off attackers.
Females have less expansive fins, resemble koi more than bettas. Males have expansive fins and are rather aggressive to untrusted others (excluding possible populations for future water-world update?). Males also look more like betta fish. The species is commonly found in garden ponds as decoration and pets (like koi and bettas in real life) and come in a large variety of colours (no surprise there.)
Lay eggs that are slightly translucent, with the fry barely visible inside.
Baby forms would look like more "common" fish such as dace before they gain their fins.

Total support! I'd definitely like to see more water species.
I'd also like to see more bird species than just the Aurleon, like a hummingbird or vulture.

Hi!
I made a couple of sketches of the Hamster and Flying Monkey suggestions to try and help generate ideas with that.

You can use these any way you like. :)
Not to be dramatic but I would die for the flying monkeys TwT

As someone who love entomology, I would like more insect-like creature. I was very dissapointed when I learn that the vorkid wasnt catchable xD
As suggestion, we can have: Snails, Sea slugs, Triops, Shrimps, Mirror Spider, Prying Mantis, etc
I'm stopping there as otherwise the list would go on and on. Looking forward to see arthropode looking creature to give my love to! (I've already saw a butterflies one and its gorgeous!)

A Sea Slug would actually be amazing imo
Sea Slugs are known for bright colors and exotic frills in real life.
I think they would fit in really well here!
Here is a picture of one for anyone who isn't familiar with the creature:
It would also qualify as a new sea creature, which I hear is a popular request.
