Cute aligator/crocodile pet with striped/runes and other genetics. (Draeyls being dragons, I was wondering about crocodiles...)

I'm with the bunny idea, though not at all cabbits. I don't like cats much please don't hurt me

Also not a new pet, but an antler mutation for the qitari would be cool. Or maybe some of the other pets as well? I just like horns. ^^; But I was thinking deer, and really the qitari can cover that.

I like the wolf, sea-creature, and elephant suggestions. Wolves (and dogs!) are awesome, elephants are a bit unusual but neat animals, and there's a huge number of different sea creatures, but people tend to lump them all together and only look at different mammal species. Same with reptiles and amphibians, so some more emphasis on those would be cool.

I really like the idea of letting us vote, too! ^^

Zodiacs, zodiacs, zodiacs.
I like the idea of an owl-based pet- shorter and pudgier looking than Aurleon; males would stick out there wings and look much like the "large" version of the African transforming owl, and the females would have a calm appearance, both like the Vulnyx and Zolnixi- defensive males, pretty females, etc.

And an otter-based pet sounds fun, but I have no idea what they'd look like/be doing since I only know about otters from The Great Big Book of Everything and Sellington Sea Otter from Octonauts.

I am with Shifty, please bring us bunnies and leave the cats out of it. Cabbits are the crutch of the animal breeding game world.

My absolute favorite is already covered by the gnarled horned qitari (I love kirin/qilin) but I'll see if I can think of some others.

Rams - I would think giant horns and shaggy coats.
Camels - For completely selfish reasons. (I collect camel figurines and plushies.)
Devil/Demon - Some sort of small demonic looking pet, maybe strangely cute.
Cattle - By cattle I mean something that looks intimidating with long horns.
Salamander - I'm thinking a bit of the mythological story of the salamander being a creature of fire.
Moth/Butterfly - I think a moth might work better than a butterfly for some reason but figured I'd mention both.
Kappa - I suppose this is a demon as well but it would be another water creature that can walk on dry land.

A snake or similarly tube-shaped creature would be really fun to mutate. They would all look so different from each other!
I also think some sort of insect/bug would be cool. Bugs don't get enough love on pet sites.
They never do. It's hard, and no one understands. ;(

AND THIS!
Plants are awesome, they are really rad. I would love a plant pet.

^ Agreeing with this also. I love me some aquatic creatures too, they are so incredibly diverse!

I see a lot of people suggesting snake-like creatures. I think a Quetzecoatl or Uroboros would be awesome AND fulfill that role.

A Hippocampus or Kelpie would also be cool.

I also enjoy the idea of a plant-based creature of some kind (Kelpie would also fulfill roles of marine and plant base creature).

To elaborate on the plant idea, you could have some really AWESOME mutations with that like...

Flowers as a mutation.

Thorn spikes as a mutation

Wings as a mutation

Runic markings as a gene

Color fade as a gene (like if they have leafy hair you could 2 tone it so you could do an autumn fading leaves would be really cool)
