Mitch smiled back at her nodding. He stopped when A'ine started talking, to both of them. 'Jora... Kind of just ran off and is hiding...' She sent pausing before continuing. 'Orion, Alderic and I where going to go try and find her... If you guys could watch the fire when you get up here that'd be great.'

A'ine shook her head. "I don't think I should get close to her thoughts again. Last time... It didn't end well." She said remembering the night before. Sure she had fixed it but only after Jora had to go through a lot of pain.

Phinesa looked at her sighing. "Sorry. I saw you were alright and Saquia's been miserable for three years... I'm just trying to fix it."

Ember frowned. "I hope she's alright...." she says, turning to look at the forest to their left. "Jora, c'mon let us help," she muttered, frowning worriedly into the darkness.

"Alright, let's split up and look for her," Orion said, grabbing his bag by instinct and turning towards the forest. He waited for the other's response to make sure they were alright with it.

"I was just joking. I understand," Saffy said, breaking into a grin again. She gathered up the maps she had dropped and walked over to a table, spreading them out. "C'mon Phinesa!" she called to her friend, pulling out a chair.

Mitch sighed tugging her arm a little. "Come on. Someone needs to watch the fire." He said holding her hand rubbing it with his thumb.

Alderic shook his head. "Someone needs to watch the fire." He said glaring at the flames, if they put it out and all went Jora might try and find her way back and fall off the cliff.

A'ine looked at Alderic. "Mitch and Ember are coming. And they'll watch it." She said nodding to Orion as she went to the right to go look for Jora.

Alderic sighed again. "You go straight through. Jora's most likely to be there, and I have a feeling that you'll get her to come back before A'ine or I could." He said to Orion patting his back as he went to the left.

Phinesa nodded. She grinned as well almost jumping into the chair next to Saffy. "Okay. Let's see about some maps!"

Ember nodded, squeezing Mitch's hand. She quickened her pace, edging close to Mitch. She hoped he wouldn't mind.

Orion nodded, and set off through the forest. It was dark, and he couldn't see well, so he pulled a headlamp he used to draw with at night out of his bag. It was dimming, since the battery was low, but it was better than nothing. He made a mental note to change the battery when he returned. Now that he had a light, he began to run through the forest, tripping occasionaly. After all, the light was dim, and he didn't have good night vision.

Saffy grinned. "Oakey dokey! First of all, we need to find more unsettled parts of the maps," she said, furrowing her brow in concentration as she poured over the maps. "Did you travel north, south, east, or west to get here?" she asked, ruling out the populated areas of the map in her head.

Mitch sighed. He felt bad that they couldn't help that much with Jora. Actually he never really met her even and it didn't seem that Ember knew her too well either.

Jora stayed high in the tree crying silently. She heard someone running beneath her and heard Alderic yelling for her a good distance away. She had ruined everything again. She could have hurt Alderic more. She should have, if he hadn't been good with fire he would be going to the school nurse.

Phinesa groaned hitting her head on the table (More like the big parts of her horns.) "I don't remember..." She heard someone behind her clear their throat. She spun around to look at a older looking man who had been sitting with the teachers. "What are you young ladies having trouble with?" He asked them looking over their shoulders.

Ember looked over at Mitch as they reached the top of the hill. Her eyes widened when she saw how big the fire was. "So, I suppose we wait here?" she said, letting go of Mitch's hand and sitting down, looking back up at him. She hoped Jora would be alright.

Orion tripped over a tree root and went flying to the ground. He cursed under his breath as the headlamp flew into the bushes. He stood up and heard a faint sniffling above him. "Jora? Jora, is that you?" he called up towards where he had heard the noise.

"We're trying to find her home town on the maps, but Miss Clueless here has no sense of direction," Saffy said, grinning at Phinesa to let her know she was just teasing.

Mitch nodded sighing a little. "I hope they know what they're doing..." He said taking his guitar and Ember's bag off his back putting them down sitting next to her.

Jora swallowed hard staying still hoping he'd leave her alone. She shouldn't have friends as good as Orion and Alderic, she'd just hurt them. She saw a small wisp of smoke at her nose which freaked her out a little. She was losing control again...

Phinesa sighed. "I'm sorry. It was three years ago!" She said hiding her face with her horns and arms on the table. The man walked over looking at the maps. "I've been just about everywhere with these old bones. Maybe I can help. What do you know?" He asked the two girls.

"Me too. Thanks, for carrying that," Ember said, nodding towards the bag. She stared into the fire, watching the fire's dance.

Orion picked the flashlight and shone it upwards. He saw the bottom of a shoe, but the light wasn't strong enough to reach the top of the tree. He flipped off the flashlight, confident enough of his tree-climbing abilities. He began to climb the tree, feeling for the branches. He finally reached the top, barely able to make out Jora's outline in the dark. "Hi Jora," he said, trying not to scare her.

"I was just teasing," Saffy said to Phinesa. "Well we know it's not near any big settlements, it's a old medieval-ish town, and it's near a forest. Anything else Phinesa?" she asked.

Mitch smiled a little although still worried. He put an arm around Ember smiling down at her. "Anything for a lovely such as yourself." He said before following her gaze to look at the fire.

Jora hadn't expected anyone to find her and slipped off her branch catching herself on the one about a foot below. She started shaking from fear and her silent sobs as she pulled herself up staying on the branch lower then Orion's as she turned away from him holding her hands the knuckles turning white as she tried to breath away the smoke before he could notice.

Phinesa rolled her head on her horns, making a nodding motion. "I know." She said simply before straightening to look at the teacher. "I don't think this would help but there was an older bigger house that the people who were rich and owned most of the land the town was on lived in." She added looking down at the map.

Alexander looked down at the maps tracing what seemed like routes with his fingers. "That it does, my friend, It does help." He told Phinesa as he flipped over to the next map looking around. "You have about three places that match your search." He said pointing at one small town.

Ember leaned against Mitch, blushing. At least she could pass it off as redness from the heat of the fire. "I think they can get her to come back," she said.

"Jora!" Orion called in fear as when she fell. He quickly climbed down to the branch she was on. He stood on the branch about a foot below the one she was on. He wrapped his arms around her stomach and hugged her. "I'm sorry I scared you," he said gently.

Saffy leaned closer to the map to get a better look. "That's good! We have it way narrowed down!" Saffy said, grinning.
